"Times Square Nugget"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Consistency. You can depend on it."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.
"Affordable Quickie in NY"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
We had a very good time and the hotel was close to work.
""Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.
"Nice hotel in the theatre district"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Very nice hotel in the theatre district. Friendly and helpful staff. Basic room accomodations but very clean. Would recommend.

The landmark Brooklyn Bridge links Manhattan with the city’s most populous borough. Waterfront Brooklyn Heights offers superb views of Lower Manhattan. Renowned for its brownstones and leafy neighborhoods, Brooklyn embodies America’s “melting pot.” Italian, Mexican, Chinese, and Jewish communities add to the cultural mix. Highlights include Coney Island, Prospect Park, and Brooklyn Museum of Art.

"Value for Value"
Nowadays one need not be afraid to stay in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. Things are changing in the neighborhood for the good. The Sleep Inn is part of that change and entirely okay for a stay - though the walls are thin. A little soundproofing would be good. It's near the South Brooklyn Marine Terminal so the area has an industrial feel but it's within a […] reasonable shot of downtown Brooklyn with all the action (BAM, Junior's, LIU). Read more

"Free Parking in Brooklyn"
This modestly-priced Sleep Inn is perfect for those who want to drive in the city. Free parking was on the premises. We chose it because of the reasonable price and its proximity to one of the subway lines that would get us where we wanted to go. We'll definitely consider a return stay.
"Nice for a Weekend"
I have stayed here twices... I really don't like the eating area... It is very small and everyone was on top of each other... Other then that the hotel was clean and the room was clean.... The service that they provided was good for the money that I paid...

"Find another place!"
This hotel is one of the worst SleepInns I have ever stayed at. The desk personnel were rude and unresponsive to any request. The dead bolt on my door was missing the latch and was not replaced after several requests. Finally I demanded another room and they reluctantly moved me to the 3rd floor. This floor wreaked of cigarettes, which was unexplainable […] for a smoke-free hotel. Additionally I believe they were renting rooms by the hour based on all the "traffic" in and out of the hotel. The coffee in this place is not even palatable for a seasoned military member to consume, and if it doesn't melt the spoon normally we would drink it. All in all I would NEVER stay at this place in the hood again. Read more

In a rather industrial area this hotel is tucked in. It is clean and the staff is friendly. It is easy to find and in a good location. We would stay there again if we were ever in the area.
"Hotel Good For Price"
Good for the Price! We didn't encounter any issues and were there early enough to take advantage of the limited parking situation. WIFI service was slow, bed and pillows were comfy! We'ed stay again we like overnight getaways!

"fair location"
very avg hotel, we had a problem with the heating unit kept cutting off, my family awoke in a cold room next morning.
"Our Stay"
We stayed in a double room. The beds were comfortable. The tv worked well. I was excited to a fridge and microwave. The room, although very clean, it felt tight.
"close to ny and fair price"
Cleaning lady great attitude!

"Dont EVER stay there!!"
Horrible rude owners that give the worst costumer service ever. I have never been so dissatisfied with a hotel in my life. I was there for a business trip, and they sent my packages away when I told them I was expecting important packages for business. When I asked them about why they sent my packages away they were so rude and hung up on me. It is […] so dirty I got bed bugs and bitten all over my body. I was lucky I didnt bring the bed bugs back to California. I will NEVER stay there again. Read more

"Sleep Inn Brooklyn"
Nice hotel, everything looked new and clean. the location was good, just 5 minutes by walk to subway station. Even the price was little bit high, the parking fee was included.
"sleep inn Brooklyn"
Our one night stay was nice. The only issue is, we felt rushed to eat the complimentary breakfast. Apparently the clock in the room was incorrect.
"Sleep Inn - Brooklyn"
I don't know why this hotel only has 2 stars!!!!! It was great, clean, courteous staff, close to the BQE, continental breakfast was convenient and tasty. Let's be real, Brooklyn is Brooklyn, but this was a great stay. Thanks!
"Sleep in Brooklyn"
was upset be werent told the tv would not be working the length of our stay, had trouble getting the air conditioning to work. was ok walking to and from the hotel during the day but at night the walk felt very dangerous. had problems with the door unlocking in our room. was woken up by maid service at 8:30 as well as neighbors next door multiple t […] imes. "Great for not driving"
Loved the fact that we did not use our car while in NYC. The hotel is a quick 4 block walk from the subway. Parked the car in the lot and left it there for the weekend. Our room was a cellar room and not very big but not a problem for us because we needed a place to sleep and that is all. We did not have A/C because the unit was not working right but […] thank goodness we did not need it. We were very happy that we were able to check in early so we could take off to the Yankee game. Would stay there again Read more
"Good Brooklyn Neighborhood Hotel-Subway near"
The Sleep Inn was a great move for us. The neighborhood was safe and friendly, and lots of good ethnic, cheap restaurants were in walking distance. The hotel staff were very helpful with accurate information in getting to Manhattan and in providing transportation to JFK airport. Close to Coney Island and 30 minute subway ride to Times Square.
I was assigned a room 305 that was not cleaned. I stood in the hallway holding my suite and luggage while waiting for the cleaning person to call downstairs I was told to go downstairs and get another room which was room 308. I had to leave for my appointment as soon as I had another room. When I came back late at night the smoke alarm kept chirping. […] The attendant came and changed the battery. He had to come back again and take out the whole smoke alarm because it would not stop chirping. So I wound up sleeping in a room with no smoke alarm. I've stayed at this hotel over 10 times and will continue to stay here everytime I need to be in the area.

"everything else is ok but..."
The internet service is terrible, limited or no connection.
"just what i needed...."
Anything negative you may have heard about the neighborhood is pure nonsense. The hotel is about 4 blocks away from the train and block the hotel is on is very quiet block. And if your not some sheltered moron that doesn't realize that they're staying in brooklyn and not manhattan you'll come to appreciate the surrounding area. A couple of the local […] markets are open 24hrs so no matter what you need heading back to the hotel you can get it. My stay there was very pleasant, the continental breakfast was very average but i wasn't expecting much to begin with. The rooms and hallways were very clean, and the room was kinda small. The only other thing I would say is make sure you specify a non handicap room because the drains in the handicap showers allow the water to hit the bathroom floor. Quite the mess. Read more

"Affordable"
We chose this hotel because it's the cheaper option. Nothing really great about the place. The complimentary breakfast was very cheap. I believe the breakfast was from the Costco bakery section. The staff were not so friendly and have to be reminded couple times for an issue to be addresses. We stayed for two nights, and the room was not cleaned. The […] door shuts very loud so if your next door neighbor gets in and out of the room frequently, it could be a serious problem. The elevator takes forever to arrive. If you can put up with the forementioned negatives, the hotel is actually an affordable place to stay in Brooklyn. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and not too shaddy. This hotel is probably the best you can get for the price you are paying. Read more
"My stay at the Sleep Inn"
I found this hotel to be nice and clean. Staff were very helpful. However, the area was not the best. Parking was good. Only problem was smoking on floors where there was supposed to be no smoking. However, I would go there again
"overall, pleasant...."
The hotel was affordable, I could see the Statue of Liberty from my room, and I was actually able to smoke! Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The room was comfortable and the cable wasn't awful like most hotels. The free parking was great too. My only complaint: the pillows were a little on the small and squishy side.
"HEADS UP"
The distant from the subway to the hotel is approx 6+ blocks, hard if you have children, The hotel has leased many rooms to homeless women and elderly which is ok but you should know ahead of time. From the subway to the hotel the surrounding neighborhood is very touchie, the warehouse section is past the hotel. There is a steep hill to climb both ways. […] The free breakfast was very good. The male staff at the front desk had an excellent command of English but the females did not..Good luck! I tried to cancelled after my first night but was not able to...VERY SMALL ROOMS Read more
HOTEL WAS CLEAN & COMFORTABLE. ONLY DOWNSIDE WAS THE INTERNET WAS OFF MORE THAN IT WAS ON. DIRECT TV DOESNT HAVE MUCH SELECTION & YOU CANT RENT ANY MOVIES.
"Sleep Inn Brooklyn"
Good location if you are driving, but not for train/subway travelers. It is a bit of a walk from the closest Metro station, which is only serviced by the (local) R train. Even on the non-smoking floors, the halls and rooms smell like smoke. Clean, though, and friendly staff.

"Sleep Inn 49th St. Brooklyn"
We love this hotel. Very comfortable bed, quiet, and a decent breakfast of cereal, juice. boiled eggs, toast and bagels. We visit family in Brooklyn, so do not mind the odd location (in a warehouse district). Not a beautiful view or quaint area to explore. Perfect if you just need a place to sleep...clean and reasonably priced.
"was their at the snow storm"
the mangement was very helpful they made us feel very comfotable in the time when new york was at a stand still codus to them
"Nice enough"
The hotel is nice for the price. The rooms were clean and people were friendly and helpful. Nothing in walking distance but there are a few places that deliver food if you don't have a car. Neighbor hood is a little shady looking, but there didn't seem to be any trouble.
"nice hotel nice staff"
It was a good stay ... everything was how it's suppost to be. Staff was very helpful with everything I asked.
