"Fantastic hotel for family"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
All perfect! Huge suites, great staff, outstanding pool, close to everything.
"Nice place, good deal for the money"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We stayed here for the good rates, and were within a 5 minute walk to Doubletree and the other premier hotels and also the awesome Ale House (try the chicken twisters - yummi). The staff at the front desk were awesome, though the sales desk BS'd us by telling us that their tickets were the same cost as at the gate of Universal. Universal gate was cheaper. They also pushed for us to get a 2 day pass saying it takes 28 hours to get thru the two parks. Well we bought the 1 day pass and we were on and off ALL the rides in both parks by 3PM and were heading back to Island of adventure to ride some again. But if we bought the two day pass we would've been bored out of our mind. Granted we did go to Universal on a Tuesday and there were few people there. Also the sales desk told us it was a 15 minute walk. Me and my friends are in marathon shape, it still took us 30 minutes to get there. Lastly they told us that since we are staying in a hotel close to Universal we'd get in at 8, another lie, we arrived at 8:15 and we weren't allowed in until 9, only guests staying in Universal itself at the expensive premier hotels were allowed early entry. So in summation; I would recommend La Quinta but don't go buy your tickets from the liars at the sales desk for any parks. PS - our room smelled like someone smoked in it, it was mild so we didn't complain and the windows opened, that was nice.
"nice comfotable room with updated decor"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
I enjoyed my stay but did not get to eat breakfast because they ran out of a lot of items an hour before they stopped serving it.
"Close to Universal/priced OK"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
This Days Inn is very old and could use a major overhaul. We had booked 2 nights and the first room was uncomfortable and dirty. Plus bugs. In the morning we requested another room and were immediately upgraded to a larger, cleaner, more comfortable room. Front desk was eager to help and maintenance staff also helped to fix a missing chair leg in the new room. Overall we probably would not recommend this Days Inn except for its location and price (be aware of the 'resort' fee added at check-in per day). This is no resort.
"Very flexable and aim to please"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
location and cleanliness of rooms are very important to me. You won't be disppointed here.

"Like a small resort"
My husband and I checked in to the Hilton for a short one-day stay on our way to another Florida location. Every employee was gracious and helpful, and we loved relaxing with drinks poolside, and then taking several trips around the lazy river. The gym is one of the best hotel gym's I've seen and the food we ate at the hotel was solid.
"think about it"
the hotel has really good facilities, the rooms are very clean and comfortable however a big minus to the services - I had a bad experience at the gym facilities when I was rudely treated by one of the staff over there ( named Tristin) - that treated me without any respect and as if I was a teenager when I am a very mature woman and well educated so […] not to know about the safety policies. I was without a tennis shoes - bareffet doing some stretching and abs... and the way she called my attention for 2 times in a row - houldn't the Hilton , a very expensive hotel have a better selection and training for their staff ? FYI .. I was there celbrating my b'day and my husband came from overseas for that particular weekend ! and how upseting it could be to be mistreated by someone that supposely is there to help you to enjoy your stay! Big shame for Hilton Convention Center Orlando!! by the way, I am a Hilton Honours member and I've stayed couple of weeks before at the Hilton Residences in Charleston, SC and I had a very pleasant stay - in a much cheap version of the Hilton - but guess what ? GREAT staff and the services just perfect!! So ... think twice when at the Hilton Convention C. in Orlando to go to the gym and if you go call the manager before!! Not very HAPPY b'day I've received from them ... Read more
"Convenient to all Universal area attractions"
Nice hotel, clean sleek design, friendly staff, great pool area and location.
"Hotel Amenities"
Loved the 'Quiet Pool'...as I'd left my little guys at home to study and prepare for an arduous exam, it was great to have a little slice of Florida sunshine without being overwhelmed by families going to Disney attractions. I was a little disappointed that internet service as well as parking were charged! At such a fine hotel, one would think those […] amenities would be included...the in house Starbucks however, was a great touch. Read more
"Great choice in Orlando"
This hotel was impressive. I like to stay at 4 star and 5 star hotels but always shop-around for deals. Hotels.com was having a sale on Orlando area hotels for the spring and the discounted rate for the Hilton was excellent. The staff was above and beyond courteous and professional. Each and every member made us feel like they truly valued our business. […] The training they must receive is outstanding because the service - from the front desk to the restaurants to the bell boys- all excellent. The pool was big and the pool area clean. There is a 'quiet pool' which I assume is for adults traveling without children. I traveled for the Easter holiday with my 2 young children so we used the main pool, the lazy river (awesome) and the jacuzzi. There is a big slide for the kids which they loved. The only reason I did not rate this hotel a 5 was for the following reasons: - the A/C did not work. I did not get a good sleep the 4 nights we stayed because the room temp would not go below 72 degrees and there was no air movement. (I stayed at a Tampa area hotel the last day of our trip and the A/C worked very well so this was disappointing from the Hilton). -I left a sign to change the sheets our next to last night b/c my son had a little accident and the maid did not change the sheets. I know this because he wrote on the sheet with a pen - leaving an ink mark and it was still there that evening and the bed was made. We got back from the theme parks so late it was not worth having the kids stay up so the maid could clean the beds. -the beds were not comfortable : ( Read more
"outstanding"
we are from NY, where the sun is little and the winters are plentiful.........staying at the hilton made our weekend in orlando outstanding. My children would say their favorite part was the lazy river, we adults loved it just as much. What a great place to take a family...
"Hilton Orlando"
Great hotel. Kids loved the pool
"great value"
after spending a few days in Ft Lauderdale, it was nice to get to a place where things were reasonably priced and the people and staff super friedly. Bed was a little extra firm for my liking though. Everything else was superb. would visit and stay again.

"Awesome get away"
Our 1 year anniversary. We had a great time. Pool was the high light, make sure to ask for Chris, the pool side waiter, he has to be the best server ever, a#1!!!!!!!
"GREAT HOTEL"
FRIENDLY STAFF, COMFORTABLE ROOM,VALET WORKERS AWESOME!!! WITHIN 5 MILES OF MOST MAJOR EVENTS
"Great hotel totally worth the money paid"
The hotel is very elegant. The employees are very attentive and nice. The pools are awesome it had two jacuzzis one for the family and other for adults. Very nice and comfortable beds totally love it,
"Clean"
My room were impeccably clean. Staff very attentive to my questions.
"Over priced, should have stayed at the Peabody"
I expect the bathrooms to be spotless, not dirty floor mats and shower curtains. I expect no mold in the shower. This was a average hotel room for an outrageous rate. Booked thinking it was close to our expo, had to deal with security for the All Stars without warning, and these two major inconveniences added to the frustration.
"Hilton Orlando near Sea World"
We loved the hotel! My family plans to visit again...just to enjoy the hotel for a weekend get-a-way. I've already recommended it to friends.

"Hilton Orlando is best hotel in Orlando"
We love the Hilton Orlando! It's the only hotel we stay at when we come to Orlando!
"Hilton Orlando"
The hotel was amazing for the price. The only thing I would change is forcing your guests to pay for parking. $13.85 a day is a little high.
"Would Return...."
This was a great hotel for a few nights for a family of three (two parents, one six year old child). The pool amenities are exceptional. Our room itself (two queens) was fine. A bit small but OK as we were only there for two nights. We ate at the pub and found the food very good but the service a little indifferent. Similar experience with poolside […] service. Read more
"excellent hotel"
Clean, new and for sure a excellent choice
"Orlando Hilton was almost like home"
We had a great experience at the Hilton orlando Hotel. The room was clean, pleasing to the eye and a truly nice experience. The frounds were amazing. The only negative(and its a small one) was that we had to dance around the shower to get wet!!! It had a nice showerhead but it just didn't give too much water pressure. All in all, the Hotel was great […] and we will reccommend it and use it again. Read more

The hotel has an excellent service. It is new, and it has an amazing (huge) swimming pool. Location is great.; it is close to all the attractions and next to the convention center.

Sweet hotel, close to SeaWorld, and International Drive, but you need a car to go anywhere. Two pools and a "lazy river" for the kids. Staff is very friendly.

"New hotel with nice amenities for good price"
Rooms and staff were very nice. The pool is awesome if the weather is nice too. Request a room facing the front entrance and you can see Disney fireworks at night. The only downside was expensive parking (with no alternatives).
Great except for night time dining which is so expensive for regular people. Other than that, everything was great. We ate breakfast both mornings in the room downstairs, but that is not open at night.
"Great"
GREAT!!!!!!!!
"wifi"
the only thing that i did not like was ... wifi was not for free. other things were nice.
"Hilton Orlando"
It was close to Sea World which is why we were in Orlando but did not offer any shuttle services to the park. It also had a huge $14 per night parking fee that was not expected. We were there for New Year's Eve and did not enjoy the hotel amenities at all. The hotel price may be worth it if you use the amenities (gym, pool, restaurants etc...) but was […] nothing special for just a night's sleep. Read more

"Orlando property"
Very satisfied with stay. In addition to the great location for various park access, the property pool area was an oasis for my family. We've already recommended the property and will be back next year. The restaurants food and service were outstanding and impressively affordable.
"The Pool at the Hilton Orlando"
The hotel was awesome. The room was clean and neat. The pool was awesome, I just wish we had more time to spend in it. We will defenetly stay there again when we come back to Orlando. It was worth what we paid.
"Hilton Orlando - Just amazing"
This hotel experience as one of the most amazing we have had in a long time. The pool and all the services were great. The staff was very attentive to all of our needs. Vincent especially was awesome. He made us feel like we were royalty. You got a customer for life. Bravo.

"Poor service"
Hotel was good, well good for the price nothing great. Location is not great, not bad either. Service sucked. I was waiting for bell boy to pick up my luggages for 15 minutes, calling 3 times to front desk and end of taking myself (as we were late for our flight) even after tipping him $10 for two suitcases when he brought it in previous day. Valet […] car was present when I came down but locked and no one is available to help. I could have walked to parking lot, which would have been faster. I thought it was pretty close to airport but traffic was very bad to airport. Read more

"Great Hotel"
This is a great hotel. Clean, comfortable, affordable and all of the staff was very courteous and helpful. Excellent place to stay with your family. It's not too far from all of the theme parks and has an awesome pool and lazy river. My only complaint is that they do not offer free internet service. It doesn't cost them any extra to offer this service […] for free. Especially being so close to the convention center, I'm sure they get a lot of business people who need internet access. Everybody offers free internet access these days. Actually, it wouldn't be so bad if the price was more reasonable. $14.99 for 24 hours of access is a bit much. If they are gonna charge that much, you should have access for your whole stay. Fortunately there is a McDonalds right across the street that does have free wifi. Other than that, it's a great hotel and we would definetly stay here again. Read more
"service"
the service that we got was not great but the real issue was we could not get any information from the concierge that was accurate it is better to say i dont know. that would keep us from coming back
