The location is great for sightseeing but the location is extremely noisy late at night. The room was not adequately furnished. Of the three chairs in the room two were not suitable to sit in because of the broken metal seat straps and lack of cushions. The sheets were supposed to be changed every three days, I stayed there 7 nights and the sheets were never changed and one day the cleaner never came at all. This is in a great location and everything else is quite reasonable. VERY IMPORTANT: do not plan to check in after 7pm as the location may be closed and you will have to call or find the main office a few blocks away.

Very small room, bathroom and kitchen with very basic accomodations. Room has no windows, feels like a jail cell. No employees on site, had to walk several blocks to get key, unless you have a working phone in Spain. Only one key provided with 50 euros security deposit for an extra key.

We wanted to stay at this hotel because it was close to Las Ramblas. Per taxi driver, the neighborhood was so bad that he did not recommend us to walk arround in that neighborhood. I did not want to rate some of the areas as we ended up staying at another hotel but since a rating is required then I am rating those areas with a number one.

The bedding was not changed for the whole 2 weeks we were there, the room was 1/2 cleaned but only the once. The cleaner went off to do something and we came back to find our room open and people outside in the corridor.

I did not like that there was nobody on staff. We had to call a phone number to have someone meet us to let us check in. Which of course cost us quite a bit on our cell phone bill. althoght the reception staff were very polite and helpfull ,we arrived at 12.30 and let us leave our cases till 3pm ,when we got back to the apatment our bags were in our room. the room was okay but walls needed a good paint and the bedding was clean but you could smell body odour on the quilt and pillows, so its a shame but not nice sorry.

Loved the location of this hotel ,it was close to everything we wanted to see, clean and quiet.Hated the check-in process .We arrived in the morning and we were told the room would not be ready til 3 pm .We didn't get into it til 5pm.Also the you couldn't check in at that location ,the desk was several streets away in another building .

Apartment details didn't mention that check-in was an office 2 streets away. Ample is perfect location between Gothic Quarter and the Old Port for sight-seeing , but the late night clubs and bars could still be heard on the 4th floor in the early hours. Apartment was adequate , but looked as though it had been painted at the beginning of the season […] and was due another coat of paint , but it was clean. The shower cubicle in the bathroom left a lot to be desired with mould and a tatty shower curtain. On the last morning at 10.00 a.m., we had to step over an unkempt person who was asleep on the foyer floor , between the street door which was not secured and the metal access gate to the apartments. I would definitely recommend avoiding this apartment rental company at all costs. They were incredibly unprofessional and unorganized. Initially, we were sent to a room that was literally still under construction - painting, flooring, etc. (and management had no idea of this). After returning to the rental office, the staff was unapologetic and was […] reluctant on transferring us to another room. Eventually we were moved to a completely separate complex of much lower quality, while still paying the price for the original complex. These room are located in an aprtment building. It is not reallya hotel so much as an apartment. It's in excellent condition with a bachelor kitchen. The previous tenant even left a couple of beers in the fridge (so did I). The location is the best. Nearby restaurants, sightseeing, and plenty of shopping if you're into that.

Die Appartments haben eine recht zentrale Lage, ausreichend Restaurants und einfache Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Umgebung. Die Einrichtung ist gut (WLAN, Klimaanlage), einzig der Service könnte besser sein. Wir hatten unsere Ankunft per Email angekündigt, haben dann wie vereinbart kurz vorher noch angerufen, wann wir genau ankommen, und trotzdem war niemand […] da. Stattdessen mussten wir vom Appartment noch einmal anrufen und dann 20 Minuten warten, bis dann endlich jemand kam, um uns hineinzulassen. Uns wurde dann gesagt, dass das Zimmer nach zwei Tagen gereinigt würde, aber nach zwei Tagen kam niemand, sondern erst ein Tag später. Man kann sich also auf wenig verlassen.
