I travel more than 100,000 miles per year and have done so for the last 20 years. During that time I've stayed in all types of hotels, good, bad and unbearable. This was the first time I've ever stayed at a Guest Lodge. The property is lovely, the room was clean and as advertised. The owner went well out of her way to accomodate everyone staying there. Breakfast cooked to order, providing transport to some of those who needed it and she was fun to be around. Her enthusiasm and zeal for her business and country is obvious and enjoyable. I had a rental car and it was necessary for me to get from the property to the convention center. Taxi would not have been an option. It was living in your own house while on business, maybe better because someone else was cooking you breakfast and cleaning your room.

We stayed in a one-bedroom suite which was very convenient and clean with a little kitchenette. Amazing views of the mountains and surrounding vineyards! Close to shops and stunning wine farms. Good breakfast, I would definitely recommend the hotel.

Great Location amazing grounds to walk thru , restaurants wine tasting VERY helpfull staff a really great experience- private pools - great views amazing river - far better than i expected would stay again-

The Rozendal Winefarm offers a quiet retreat in a superb rural setting backed by mountains on the outskirts of Stellenbosch. The welcome from the owners... was warm, informative and the very responsive service organising guides for personalised trips around the wine lands were greatly appreciated. The attractive simple but spacious rooms are clean and well cared for; some have superb views towards Table Mountain in the distance. The Rozendal does offer food for guests but among my party the dinners were regarded more of a service than for their culinary delights.
