Grand Harbour Accommodation - Docklands

We stayed here a couple of years ago and was a little worried about returning given some of the recent reviews. The apartment was in good condition overall and i would rate it at 4 star. The complex is a few years old so there are some signs of general 'wear and tear' The biggest DISAPPOINTMENT is that guests no longer have access to either the pool […] or gym. I spoke with reception and understand that it relates to new rules imposed by the building manager (which doesn't surprise me as there is a mix of private and rental apartments in the complex, so there is no upside for the manager to allow access for temporary guests). In spite of the great location, without any extra facilities, the price is too high and we wont be staying here again. Read more

The room was great but was unhappy with no access to hotel sauna. When i booked the room, the hotel advertised that it had a sauna. One of the things that i was looking for when planning the weekend with my partner for an anniversary gift was access to one. Would not rebook this hotel again. But otherwise I wouldn't bother staying here. It's an apartment complex - there is a check-in office next door but no other services ie restaurants, room service, telephones etc etc. The 2 bedroom apartments are comfortable enough and well equipped but the decor is quite tacky. I think they are all individually owned so what you get depends on the taste […] (or lack of) of the owner. The apartment we were in was a bit battered - scuffed cupboards/ skirting boards, cream/white carpets which probably only looked good the day they were laid.
