Nice place. Walking distance to metro. If you do not have heavy suitcases then take the metro from Airport instead of cabs. Great spread for Breakfast buffet. We had a suite. Only one bathroom. An extra half bath would be prefect or at least an extra sink (instead of a lot of cupboard space). Friendly and helpful staff.

The people that ran the hostel were very nice. Our room was not fancy but it did what we needed it to. We were close to everything and were very pleased... with our room. This was only my second time staying at a hostel so I was surprised when there was not a common room or a kitchen to make coffee. This was a wonderful stay with memorable service. This is a very small hotel with around 20 rooms and has the feel of a family run place. It is reasonably priced but very clean, great beds and amazing service. The location was ideal for spending a day or two in Madrid. We were able to walk easily to Plaza Mayor and Sol. Highly recommended.

Hostel was in great location. Hop on/off bus tour was only a block away. Street was a little noisy but not bad at all. Took a while to figure out english tv stations for night time/no biggie. We were very impressed with what we got for the price. It was very reasonable and really clean and comfortable. A great location and not thet noisy consideing we were in the centre of the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful but spoke very little english however it wasn't a problem. I would definitely return.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The staff were approachable and straightforward to deal with, although as they don't speak English it is good to know some basic Spanish. The hotel was in a lovely old building with a marble and mosaic-decorated entrance hall, and my room had a mini-balcony from which I could see the winding streets below. The room […] itself was just right for one person staying a few nights. Perhaps the best aspect of this hotel is the location, which is only about 2 minutes' walk from the Plaza Mayor, and an easy stroll from fantastic tapas bars and restaurants. In fact you could get anywhere in about 10 minutes' walking time, e.g. the Palacio Real, or the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza. Because of the central location it was a bit noisy at night, so it's a good idea to take earplugs! I shared the bathroom with other guests but had no problem with access - and the shower was excellent!!! Read more

Wij hebben in 2 verschillende kamers geslapen. Wat opvallend was is dat de ene kamer behoorlijk veel groter was dan de ander. De prijs bleef echter gelijk. Het verblijf was prima en de eigenaresse zeer aardig en behulpzaam. Ze kon in iedergeval Engels.
