This was a fantastic pick for us. The hotel is beautiful and extremely comfortable, with views of the Tuscany hills that are nothing short of stunning. And the service is warm and unusually helpful; we received extraordinary help on what towns to visit, how to get there, and what vineyards and restaurants were worth our time. I would come back in a heartbeat.

We loved the hotel and its location in Montepulciano. The family that runs the hotel and restaurant made us feel welcome and comfortable from the moment we arrived. From getting us set up in our wonderful room (the views are terrific), to recommending a great bottle of wine and even setting us up with transportation to a local winery and to the train station. You won't go wrong with a stay at Osteria del Borgo!

My wife and I traveled to Cortona as part of our Italian honeymoon. Hotel Italia is very comfortable and accommodating. The staff is very friendly and helpful in all ways, including assisting us with travel/tourist questions. The room was very clean and the free breakfast from 8-10 was very good. We would definitely stay here again!
