This little hotel has location, location, location! It is less than 5-10 minutes walking distance to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, & Tempolo Adriano. It is about 15-20 minutes from the Coliseum, the Forum, and Vittoria Emmanuelle, around 25-30 minutes from Piazza del Popolo, and a half hour from the Vatican. Seconds away from the main artery Via Del Corso, you can’t get a better location for a more reasonable price. The front desk staff is wonderful and Tomosso in particular will not hesitate to recommend the best restaurants and tell you how to get to all the sites within Rome. He recommended fabulous restaurants and mapped out a walkable itinerary of sites daily for us. If you don’t care to walk, the hop on hop off bus is two minutes away. What really sets this hotel apart is the 5th floor outside deck with a panoramic view which is used for breakfast in the morning and a possible night cap at night. What a way to start and end a day. It was beyond gorgeous and really a delightful highlight to a memorable stay in Rome. The rooms are big enough to accommodate two easily and are clean and neat. The only difficulty I encountered was that I was unable to connect to Wi-Fi but instead used the downstairs computer. Some of the rooms on the upper floors are only accessible by a short stairway which is difficult with heavy luggage. Other than that, our stay was perfect and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

We did not get information that payment by card was not accepted. The breakfast was poor, bread from yesterday, cerials too sweet. The juice was more like lemonade than fruit-juice.

Had a great experience. Our triple room was clean and bed very comfortable, including pillows. 40 inch hd tv with all the sky channels with the options to switch to English language. Filled a form with time and choices for breakfast . Arrived on time and plenty of food. ( Italian style breakfast) . Front desk nice and helpful. Near American embassy, hard rock cafe' , villa borghese park( very nice!) . Would stay there again and reccomand it to friends and family

Room was so small that we could barely walk around the bed and there were no drawers in which to put clothes. The buffet breakfast, however, was outstanding and the location very convenient. Front desk staff could be friendlier. The room was much smaller than the photo for that level of accommodation

Situated in Rome, Colors Hotel is close to Auditorium Conciliazione, St. Peter's Basilica, and Sistine Chapel. Also nearby are Roman Forum and Colosseum.

"Easy access"
The hotel is a little out of the way. It is not in the Centro Storico but close to public transportation. I felt safe in the neighborhood. Coming home after a long day of walking was always pleasant. The colors in the hotel room are relaxing. I would go back to this hotel any time and have also recommended it.

We were at Roma for 4 days, then 3 nights. First good things : all the staff speak english :) For the first night we were in the Room numbered 1. Great but a little noisy as It is located just beside the entrance. We ask another room then[…] well decorated. All the rooms including showers have been renewed recently then they are beautiful!! In addition, the breakfast is great and the staff is kind and efficient. The hostel is located near the Vatican and 400meter far from the metro. Read more

Nous sommes un couple de jeunes et nous avons passé 4 nuits à l'hotel Colors. Malheureusement, notre chambre, bien que très jolie et très propre était très mal située: entre la porte d'entrée et la réception. Nous entendions tout, mais alors absolument tout: les gens qui rentrent et qui sortent de l'hotel, le téléphone de la réception qui sonne, les […] discussions avec les personnes de la réception, les livraisons pour le ptit dej, et la vaisselle du ptit dej dès 7h du matin... Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre mais l'hotel était complet, pas de négociation de prix possible...en parlant avec d'autres français, nous avons appris que les autres chambres sont elles aussi très mal insonorisées. C'est le seul point négatif,donc je le conseille aux personnes qui ont un sommeil lourd ou équipées de boule-quiès. Sinon l'hotel est très charmant et très bien situé! Read more

Rent och fräscht hotell med väldigt bra läge, nära Vatikanen och dess sevärdheter. Även gångavstånd till tunnelbana och "gamla stan" med alla dess sevärdheter. Kunnig och hjälpsam personal som kunde bra engelska. Enda minuset var att vi hade ett rum som låg intill trapphuset och eftersom det var marmortrappor så ekade hela trapphuset när någon gick […] och stängde dörrar. Besvärligt att sova då. Rekommenderar rummen 206-209 i så fall för att slippa detta. Vi kunde inte byta rum men fick kompensation på fakturan istället. Ett minus till var att frukosten tog slut om man väntade för länge. Bonjour à tous, Nous avons eut la chance partir à Rome 4 jours et de visiter cette belle ville sous la neige ! Mais l'hôtel était vraiment moyen! Comme je l'avais lu dans les commentaires précédent, la salle de petit déjeuner est vraiment trop petit, 5 tables de 2 pour un hôtel qui compte un vingtaine de chambre, ça fait vraiment juste ! Mais le […] buffet est bien garnit et bon, il faut juste patienter pour avoir de la place ! Nous avions la chambre n°04, au Rez de chaussée(avec salle de bain et touilette). Qui dit Rez de chaussée, dit va et vient constant et à toutes heures. On entendait même les hôtesses d'accueil ! Dès 7h du matin nous entendions les bruits de vaisselle du petit déjeuner ! Et nous avons eut l'immense privilège dès le 1er jour d'avoir une odeur immonde dans notre salle de bain! Le premier matin ça été, le second c'était de pire en pire, mais le dernier matin, on a été obligé de le signaler et on nous a donné une autre chambre qui était libre, pour que l'on se douche! Il faut Effectivement payer en Cash, dès notre arrivé il nous l'on demander, même si le paiement de la chambre se fait juste avant la dernière nuit, comme ça on a le temps de retirer l'argent nécessaire! Voilà, mis à part tous ces petits soucis, nous avons passé de bonne nuit, il faut juste ne pas se coucher trop tard en prévision d'un réveil assez matinal! "Sólo falla la atención en el desayuno."
El hotel cumple las expectativas, pero la atención en el desayuno no. Hemos tenido que esperar mucho ya que la sala era pequeña y estaba llena. Después el personal no recogía los platos de los anteriores comensales, con lo que al final el desayuno se convertía en una porquería. Por lo demás lo recomiendo por la calidad-precio-ubicación.

L'inizio non sembrava dei migliori visto che da fuori non aveva l'aspetto di un hotel. Mi ritengo pienamente soddisfatto. Tv bella grande, pay tv in camera, climatizzatore performante e frigorifero funzionante. Accesso wifi immediato. Vicinanza a Piazza San Pietro e alla Metro. Il parcheggio si trova con facilità. "Mycket bra hotell"
Ett fräscht och trevlig hotell som ligger i ett bra område (nära Vatikanen). Rummet var ganska litet men det känns helt ok eftersom man är så lite där. Mycket bra frukostbuffé. Jag skulle välja detta boende igen om jag återvänder till Rom.
