I have stayed here 3 times thus far, and would do it all over again! It is a nice, charming, older hotel, right across the pedestrian bridge from the Krakow Glowny train station. Clean rooms, ornately festooned windows, and other decor just like your typica, eccentric New-Jersey- Greek -Aunt- goes berserk with the frills and swags thing is going all over the rest of the room.1 it exudes true Polish style! I have been staying here for almost 14 years, and it is a decent deal for the money. And I will likely stay here again, as I rather enjoy it, however, the staff are grumpy, short and n a little bit bossy and rude in their demeanor in general. They love giving unsolicited advice about your clothing choices, and the answer you in a series of short, grunts,or not at all when you ask questions.They used to be nicer than all of that. Not sure if the place has been sold in the meantime, or if they were just being weird. Oh well... It is a great old standby, and I still enjoy the place. It is only about a 10 minute walk to the cloth hall, etc.

a brief ten minute walk to old Jewish section and a bit longer to down town. if you want shopping, you are also next to a mall.one day too tired to go out and ate inside. food was very good and the service excellent. can't ask for more.

Staff is excellent and attentive. The rooms are clean, have character and baths are up to date. Quiet location. Trams right out front take you to the train station or you can walk in 20-25 mins. Walk to old Krakow in 15 mins. Breakfast is satisfying. Would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel staff were very helpful and polite. They made us feel very welcome and appreciated. The room was a nice size and the beds were comfortable.... Restaurants, coffee shops and grocery are an easy walk away, 0 - 10 minutes. The room was a bit cool but extra cozy blankets were available in the closet. This place looked fabulous on paper, but when we had such a hard time finding the place, we probably should have known better (tip: look for the night club "atmo" and you'll find the buzzer this place). Of course the location is great, the price was less and the staff was as helpful as they could be considering the circumstances. However, there were […] other places nearby that were not that much more costly and were much better equipped. Lucky for me I still have some of my old "youth hostel" habits, and brought my own soap with me. Also bring your own tea towel unless you want to dry your coffee cup with your bath towel (eww)... needless to say, I didn't make use of the coffee/tea service. Read more

Stayed here on a weekend. Staff allowed us to check in early. Very nice and helpful staff. Wi-fi worked well and there was a computer available for those without wi-fi. This is a basic place--clean, no "extras" but nice.

What a find - a bargain-priced hotel in the heart of Krakow. I stayed 4 nights - for the first two days, I was attending a conference at Jagiellonian University, just a few blocks down the street from the Globtroter; for the last two days, I was joined by my husband for a weekend of slumming, and the main tourist square was two blocks down the street […] from Globetroter in another direction (along a street packed with restaurants that all looked great - we could not try them all!). The hotel was perfectly located for both purposes, plus it is easy walking distance from the main train station (and you can take a train for under €5 direct from the airport to this train station). The front door is on a noisy square that might not seem very welcoming, but looks are deceiving - the hotel lobby is through the building and out the back door, tucked in the corner of a lovely, quiet, garden courtyard, and the rooms overlook this quiet inner sanctum. The building is old and unrenovated, but you can thank that fact for keeping the price low - plus you can enjoy the feel of an old Krakowian building with big creaky wooden doors. The hotel is clean, decent, pleasant inside and you just can't beat this location. Read more

I forhold til den lave prisen er dette svært bra. Personalet er svært hyggelige og villige til å yte god service, og beliggenheten er helt perfekt dersom en vil utforske Krakow. Hotellet og rommet kan virke en smule slitent, men badet holder svært god standard.

Fint og greit hotell, store rom, hyggelig og smilende betjening. veldig lite bråk for oss over 40 år, kunne evt hatt kjøleskap. Fikk meget bra engelsk frokost med tilbehør rett utenfor hotell inngangen. Kun 5 min unna Rydek med masse ute restauranter, Maria kirken og en flott restaurant som anbefales, Szara:-) Vi kommer tilbake

Et gammeldags hotell med sjarm. Hyggelig og imøtekommende betjening.Det eneste vi savnet var et kjøleskap på rommet. Det hadde vært godt med kaldt drikke på rommet etter en lang vandring.

Hotellets entre är en grön oas mitt inne i gamla Krakow. Lobbyn är bemannad dygnet runt och personalen är alltid hjälpsam och trevlig. Hotellet ligger vid ett torg med flera mysiga frukostcaféer. Hit kommer vi att återvända flera gånger.

Det er et hotel som er meget romantisk med fritliggende loftsbjælker - men det gør at lyde fra ovenboen går direkte igennem. Det er ikke rart når de kommer sent hjem og står tidligt op. Men ellers er det et ok sted!

Beligende meget fint i den gamle bydel lige om hjørnet fra den store markedsplads. Hyggeligt hotel med venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Ældre hotel, med velfungerende og rene badeværelser Morgenmad spises på en af de mange cafeér lige i nærheden.
