the main selling point was the beautiful panoramas you get whilst lounging in the pool, except the outside pool was being dug up! This wasn't communicated to us and so lounging by the patio with rubble and builders wasn't that relaxing! It is a nice hotel though with good facilities. We used the inside spa instead. Playing pool at €8 an hour a tad expensive […] though. Restaurant food average so go for a wander into town. Nice breakfast. I'm sure, in season it is a great hotel! Read more

Leider ist die Gegend touristisch noch nicht sehr erschlossen, man muß schon genaue Pläne haben. Es gibt jedoch interessante Ziele in der näheren und weiteren Umgebung, über die man sich vorher informieren sollte. PKW unbedingt erforderlich; bei schlechtem Wetter könnte es etwas einsam sein. Ansonsten bietet das Hotel einen Komfort, den wir in dieser […] Gegend mitten in Portugal in einer eher ländlichen Gegend noch nicht erlebt und nicht erwartet hatten. Read more
