It was a pleasant, clean and modern place to stay before we left Italy the next morning. The free shuttle service to the airport was a nice perk. The evening reception desk person was very friendly and also gave us great advise of a good place to eat in the area.

All in all a great little B&B. Only small annoyances location on main street a bit loud, internet when it did work: it was very slow. Housekeeping only available before 12pm. So if you are not out of your room by then you won't have toilet paper, fresh towels etc. Good perks free snacks and and drinks.

Location.
Located in Rome (San Giovanni), Casa di Silvia is close to Anfiteatro Castrense, Basilica di San Giovanni in Laterano, and Colosseum. Also nearby are Roman Forum and Baths of Caracalla.

Overall our stay was excellent. The location is central and easy to move about. The cleaning lady was accommodating and helpful with an umbellra when... it rains. The breakfast could be better. Casa di Silvia bietet kein Hotelkomfort; es ist keine ständig besetzte Reception vorhanden. Allerdings für ein bzw. zwei Nächte ganz ok; Frühstück besteht aus einem Espresso mit Croissant in einer nahegelegenen Bar; nicht reichlich, aber ganz gut; man kann ja einen Capucino und weiteres Gebäck zusätzlich günstig erwerben.
