We needed a hotel convenient to the airport for an overnight stay so that we could return our rental car and board a morning flight to Paris for a connection to NYC. This hotel was perfect. The room was compact, but had a very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, and was quiet. The staff was amiable and helpful. We ate a lovely dinner at the hotel adjacent and a very nice breakfast in the hotel the next morning. Their shuttle took us to the airport which would be in walking distance if it weren't for the heavy traffic. The price, location, and service were perfect for our needs.

The Residhome was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. We stayed for 2 nights and would have liked to have stayed longer! The hotel was on the Loire River and the beginning of the Nantes-Brest canal. Beautiful views of the area. Grocery store 2 blocks away and only a few more blocks to the old city. Staff very helpful and the room was very modern, clean and useful. The fully stocked kitchen even had an automatic dishwasher! Loved it!

When registering, the Hotels needs to give immediate information about obtaining keys, opening hours when somebody is at the desk are not all the same at each hotel and a foreigner if his arrival is late could find himself stranded. The shower could be bigger. Otherwise we have been very satisfied. Employees have been very nice and accomodating.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean, the breakfast was good, and it was within a reasonable walking distance of everything that we wanted to see. There is also a tram stop nearby so it is easy to ride the tram if you don't want to walk.

No maid service. Internet access but no Wifi. Difficult to get in after business hours. There is noone at the reception after 6 or 7 pm and on Sundays. You need to call a phone number that is beyond a locked door. We had to wait until someone opened the door so we can get in and find the phone number. Room were pretty nice though for the price. Consdering the price, that is a nice hotel but be ready to deal with a few inconveniences.
Location.

Why I chose this hotel is because of good location. It's near the central of Nantes. Especially near the famous and big cathedral I forgot the name anyway a sightseeing tour bus and other local buses also near the hotel. Staffs were also kind. This hotel was conveniently located for all sightseeing purposes. A short walk from the train station and very close to the relaxing Jardin des Plantes. Clean and tidy room and ensuite/shower was perfect. Very small room and a little stuffy as no A/C. But you get exactly what you pay for. Hotellet er meget småt, men værelset var virkelig rent og pænt. Det var lille, men velindrettet. Personalets engelske var ikke det bedste, men de var meget venlige og lod mig endda blive en time ekstra og opbevarede bagage gratis. Un hôtel un peu "has been" qui remplit simplement son rôle de vous délivrer une chambre pour dormir mais avec des prestations très basique outre une Tv LCD minimaliste. Un prix abordable certes mais rien d'extraordinaire il vaut mieux un bon Campanile... À vous de juger...chambre un peu étriquée moquette au sol porte de chambre un peu légère style porte […] de couloir. Hall de l'Hotel très moderne et épuré qui débouche sur un petit escalier , des couloirs avec des petites marches et des paliers, pittoresques des vieilles demeures, pour arriver dans une chambre propre, agréable, décorée avec une ambiance à 2 teintes et bcp de boiseries. Très bienn située dans le centre de Nantes, proche de la Cathédrale, la rénovation de cette hôtel est réussie. La façade ne permet pas de se rendre compte de la qualité de cet hôtel. Accueil chaleureux et rapport qualité/prix excellent.

Hôtel agréable. La chambre était petite, mais très agréable et propre. L'hôtel est très proche de la gare SNCF et du centre ville. L'emplacement est donc idéal pour le tourisme.

L'hôtel est très bien situé. sobre, propre, accueillant. les chambres propre confortable au point de vu de aménagement, mais pour ma part, ma chambre situé en façade rue de l'hôtel et donnant juste au dessus d'un bar a fait de ma chambre un piège a bruit qui, lors que l'ont est sensible au bruit et fatigué, on souffre et on est frustré toute la nuit […] de manque de repos que la chambre inspire a notre arrivé dans les lieu. Un petit peu plus cher que les chaines mais Hôtel très bien refait, et bien situé en centre ville , près du palais des congrès.
