We arrived late at Roessli, somewhere around 6PM and Christopher was at the reception. We only had one full day at Interlaken to go up to mountain Schilthorn, paraglide and hike - and Chris has made all the calls for us, and showed us everything on the map, and told us the best times, best routes etc... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :))))))

We loved our stay here! The owner was VERY nice and willing to help us with EVERYTHING. He booked our paragliding flight, and even made us a breakfast to take with us in the morning being as we would not be at the hotel for the continental breakfast. While the rooms are by no means 5 star quality, they are comfortable, clean, and quiet. However, after going through both Switzerland and staying at a variety of hotels and B&Bs, and 5-star hotels in the Greek Islands, this blew the others out of the water in customer service. I have seen some online reviews complaining about lack of a/c. As someone […] who was there in the summer, it wasn't a problem at all. It's Switzerland for God's sake - it's safe and the air is cleaner than anywhere, so sleep with your window open and enjoy the view of the Jungfrau! The family who runs the B&B made it feel like a home and were better than any concierge at any future hotels - booking a variety of tickets, offering advice on where to go/not go, and even offering free breakfast daily. They also spoke a variety of languages (I heard German, English, and French for certain) so I never felt uncomfortable really only speaking English. I would absolutely come back! Read more

The staff were super friendly, the hotel was clean. The food was great and I thought it offered excellent value. Nice place to eat opposite the hotel too, so much cheaper that the Hofeweg! The location was perfect. Close to Interlaken West station (5 min walk). You can hire a bicycle at the bottom of the road. I will definitely be going back!!!

Location of hotel is superb. Just a 2 minutes walk and you reach the train station - gateway to all other must-see sights. Me and my husband spent 2 days at this lovely 2star hotel (B&B) in APril 2012 as part of our 19 days Europe trip. We have travelled many timess to Europe and this hotel has left one of the deepest impression. The staff and the boss are very helpful and always smiling. Especially the boss Jean Louise is such a fatherly figure and he will chat and joke […] with you at breakfast time. He likes to give you little surprises just like santa claus. The breakfast is nice with cold cuts, different breads, yogurt etc. The croissants and the yogurt are all home -made by the boss and it is delicious!!!The croissants are the nicest that I have ever tasted as it is really fragant!It must be because Jean Louise used to have a restaurant.ANd jean is always checking to see if you need more coffee or chocolate! I was staying in the attic and the room is clean and comfy though the bathroom is a little small. We can also see some moutain viewThe rooms with balcony looks much bigger . There is also 2 recreation area with PC and lots of books, and free coffee and tea till 10p.m. The hotel is only 5-6 mins walk from the train interlaken west station where all the activity are, then is it very convenient! It would be better if there are lifts in the hotel and the room has hair dryer If a comfy and warm hotel is what you are looking for, then this is a great choice. Goof location, friendly staffs and vakuable for money. The staffs of the hotel are very nice and friendly. Location is good, near the west station just walk around 5 minutes and also near the city center. I would recommend this hotel for visit Interlaken.

This is a very beautiful family run bed & breakfast place. I stayed with my wife for just a night. Our room was right at the top with the slanted ceiling! The owners - both Father & Son are warm & joyful. I will definitely stay here for longer duration next time i visit interlaken

Jean-Louis and his son Christopher made our stay in their hotel a very comfortable and enjoyable one! The hotel is a short walk from the train station, and located in a quiet area looking directly towards the mountains. Our room was very clean, as was the rest of the hotel, and right away we felt "at home". They provided us with lots of information […] about the area, and couldn't have been happier about our choice to stay there. We chose to spend our evenings relaxing in the hotel after a full day of activities, and wouldn't have done it any differently. The hotel has several areas to lounge, and we felt like part of their family after chatting with Christopher in the evenings and meeting his family, and being greeted by Jean-Louis each morning at breakfast. The breakfast was delicious, with lots to eat and choose from, and Jean-Louis always had something to make us laugh. If you're looking for a relaxed stay where you feel like a welcomed guest in someone's home, this is a great choice! ok to start i arrived on friday two hours later than i planned due to missing a boat in Evian,so it was a bonus to discover that the train stops at interlaken west.The hotel is 350 meters from interlaken west,in reception i was greeted by michael who is an information tour de force,in fact i had to tell him to take a breather as he was giving me the […] full works. He was happy to tell all about the hotel ,interlaken and the excursions which they arehppy to arrange. The general ambience of the hotel is a cosy ambience with breakfast room,library/study,lounge and free tea or coffee kitchen. My room i had seen previously on their own website so i knew as a single traveller it was small but i was on a budget. It has a slopingroof and i am 6 ft so i bumped my head untill i got used to it. It also has a small window and the main light is dim,too dim. However the real bonus of room 34 is when you sit on the bed and look out the window. the view of the jungfau,monch and eiger. That has got to be one of the greatest views in world tourism !!! I shared a bathroom/toilet and their are two right opposite both immaculately clean and with new fittings in fact better than my own home. Breakfast is continental style with cereals ,toast,croisants,ham,cheese,jams,honey,orange juice and finaly cafe served by papa admirat and his ever present 'voila'. Papa admirat is a real showman and genuine with it. The dark haire girl on reception whose name i cant recall is also very friendly and a credit to the hotel. Their is an italian restuarant next door,a bank opposite,a takeaway opposite, a great bar at the end with a youngish crowd and a top billiard and pool bar a block away. As a guest of the hotel you get the guest card which entitles you to free travel within Interlaken. There is not available a lift. Luckily, Receptionist is very professional and helpful. My luggage is the most heavy, but they still happy to carry to my room. And they know all about thing in Interlaken.

日本で言うところの旅館という感じでしょうか。部屋に入ると木の香りがしてとても気持ちよく、窓の外にはユングフラウも見えました。ここのホテルのオーナーとその息子さんがとても良い人で良くしてもらえました。出かける前には是非お勧めの場所やアドバイスを聞いてみてください。高級感こそありませんが他に泊まった４スターホテルよりも素敵でとてもアットホームな、今回の旅行で１番良いホテルでした。もちろん見所はユングフラウですが、ちょっと町外れには綺麗な小川もありゆっくりと自然を満喫できました。また行きたいです。ホテルの皆様ありがとうございました。
