That cosy B&B is in the middle of Florence center near to the Dome. It is very clean and you are getting coupons for your breakfast at the bakery around the corner, 2 minutes away. All the attractions are just a step away and there is a taxi stop round the corner. Of course there are cheaper cities to visit in Italy but for us it was worth every Euro we spend to make the experience of that beautiful city.
"Great experience, best location"

Our room was very spacious, a huge plus and quite clean. The bathroom was small but good enough. Nothing can be the location! Literally a 1 minute walk to duomo, the street was lively and full of action. Great if you love being in the middle of it all. Only negative is the owner doesn't really speak english so you cant get much info from her regarding sightseeing. Would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent location, with a view of the Duomo from the room. Everything was very clean and worked perfectly. Great wifi! There is a common room with complimentary coffee, tea, water, juice, cookies, etc. The breakfast is provided with a voucher for a pasticcerie very close to the B&B which has great cappuccino and croissant. I had a great time and I would definitely recommend it!!!!!!

I've been to Florence many times but it was my first time staying in this hotel. It was very clean, the room was spacious, the bathroom was modern and my shower was long and hot! It's in the very centre of Florence next to all the shops and sights.... I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Florence...
"Stone's throw from the Duomo"

The lady who met us could only speak Italian, but we managed between our rudimentary Italian and Google translate. The place is very close to the Duomo, which made it convenient to explore the city at night, after most of the tourists had gone. It also means some noise, but we slept through most of it. Most nights, talented buskers serenaded us to sleep. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. However, the comforter was very dusty and we sneezed and felt itchy upon touching it. We stashed it away, using only the sheet, which was adequate for the fall weather. Everything else was great. There's free food and snacks, like toast, jam, ham, etc. The free breakfast coupons only provide a pastry and a hot drink, so we didn't use them after the first day, preferring to eat at the apartment instead.

Very nice place! Perfect location! kind and pleasant host! There is a social living room with couch, television, fridge and stove. The fridge full with goods like milk, juice, cheese, sausage. and all this for free! very recommended!
"Great location! Clean, comfortable and very hospitable."
We loved our stay! A quaint B&B located crawling distance to the Duomo and an easy walk to most of the other sites in Florence. Barbara was wonderful and despite the language difference (we don't speak Italian), we had absolutely no problems communicating. The breakfast was a lovely self serve continental which was perfect.

Me and my wife stayed for 2 nights. Everything was spotless, the bed is nice, the location is excellent albeit a little confusing to find at first and the lady (mother of the owner) who arranged everything for us was very friendly despite she doesn't speak English (not a problem for me in particular). Highly Recommended!
"Location & Service!"
We truly enjoyed our stay at Magnifico Maserre! Thank you to Lorenzo mom who took care of us! - The Location of the BB is fantastic (we can see The Duomo from our room) and it is right at the center of everywhere - We can use the Kitchen and was given freebies (juice, milk, Biscuit and Cracker) - Easily walk to the Train Station We would go back again! Cheers, Diana B.

My husband and I spent one night here April 2013 and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, and had gorgeous tall ceilings. It's true that Roberta doesn't speak English but she is incredibly friendly and tried to communicate as much as possible - when that didn't work, she called her son Lorenzo who answered the rest of our questions over the phone. The building is classic (awesome elevator included!) - you get a key to the building, apartment, and your room, and it feels like you're coming home to your own place at the end of the day. The location is amazing - it is just steps from the Duomo - yes it is noisy at night but all part of the experience of being directly downtown Firenze! Roberta leaves items in the kitchen and fridge for your use - includes coffee/tea, bottled drinks, small cakes, etc. Not as much breakfasty items (milk/cereal for westerners, or bread even though there is a toaster) but you make do. There is a little grocery store not far off if you need additional items. I highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay here again!
