The castle/estate meets the farm.because that's where it's located.On a farm.Not on any gps maps because the 1.5 mile long dirt road from the highway is a not a legal street.No lights at night.Drive at own risk.Very friendly and helpful staff.No early wake up call because the staff doesn't start work until 8am.Free parking.It's a very nice place with nice people working there,but the location being located so far out of the way makes it not recommended for me.The hotel needs better marketing and signage/lighting to help people find this place.

I recently spent three nights at Cortijo Barranco, which is several miles to the east of Arcos on the road to El Bosque. The inn is accessed via a rough but scenic private road that is easy to miss, even when you are looking for it. Cortijo Barranco is a wonderful place and was a surprising value. Because it is old (portions are as old as 1754) and because it is off the beaten path, it might not be for everyone. It is also quite dark and quiet back there at night. It was my base for exploring Andalucia for a few days. My only regret was that I didn't have more time to enjoy the beautiful amenities. The people there are very kind and delightful. I was made to feel at home and Marie and Juan were especially warm - everyone is terrific. I would absolutely recommend this inn to adults or couples looking for a great experience in Andalucia. Try to stay at least four nights and plan on spending some time enjoying the atmosphere.

Lovely hotel with only a few rooms. Beautiful gardens in the back, breakfast on the patio, dog at your feet, views of the goats and sheep in the valley. Friendly staff, happy to sit and talk or just give a recommendation for a restaurant or attraction. Highly recommended.

The hotel could benefit from more available information on local activities and could also provide tea and coffee facilities in the rooms. This was a super find for us and just what we were looking for. Quiet setting with stunning scenery and a short 15 minute drive to Ronda. It is well worth exploring local hilltop villages and the hotel is well placed for this. We would suggest that you make sure you know how to find the hotel before you set out in the car, good map or sat nav is essential. […] The hotel is lovely, excellent friendly service from the staff and the room spacious and comfortable. Excellent bathrooms, very good showers. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Zimmer sind sehr hübsch eingerichtet, Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die Umgebung (es ist eher abgelegen) läd zum Abschalten ein. Ab November gibt es einen SPA, die Anlage ist sehr schön gepflegt, Die Küche ein Traum! Einziger Nachteil, es ist etwas hellhörig.

Hôtel à 20 km de Ronda, très très mal indiqué voir pas du tout sur la route, aucuns panneau du coup vous vous énerver avec 40 dégrée. Hôtel en rénovation pas indiqué du tout lors de la réservation ! il ont quand même fait un effort sur le prix et ça c'est bien. Le service pas contre est moyen pour une classe comme celle la, il n'y a rien autour à moins […] de 10 km pour manger correctement. Car c'est la qu'il y a des efforts à faire pour ce fabuleux endroit, la vue c'est bien, et franchement il est très bien situés la vue est fabuleuse, mais pour faire rester les clients, il faut un menu typique avec un vrai chef, idem pour la petit déjeuner ou ont à pas le choix que le buffet pas très original. Endroit superbe dans un décor superbe. Idéal pour se reposer et pour rayonner dans les environs. Mais très difficile à trouver: l'adresse ne suffit pas. Il faudrait un plan de route plus détaillé et/ou les coordonnées pour le GPS.
