It was a pleasant, clean and modern place to stay before we left Italy the next morning. The free shuttle service to the airport was a nice perk. The evening reception desk person was very friendly and also gave us great advise of a good place to eat in the area.

All in all a great little B&B. Only small annoyances location on main street a bit loud, internet when it did work: it was very slow. Housekeeping only available before 12pm. So if you are not out of your room by then you won't have toilet paper, fresh towels etc. Good perks free snacks and and drinks.

Location.
Located in Rome (Vatican - Prati), B&B Roma Vaticano is close to Vatican Gardens, Vatican Museums, and Sistine Chapel. Also nearby are St. Peter's Basilica and Castel Sant'Angelo.

Property Features.
The bed & breakfast offers a bar/lounge. Guests are served a complimentary breakfast each morning. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas and a computer station is located on site. Additional amenities include multilingual staff, tour/ticket assistance, and an elevator (lift). For a surcharge, guests have access to a roundtrip airport shuttle (available on request).

Guestrooms.
Rooms feature balconies with city views. The 9 air-conditioned guestrooms at B&B Roma Vaticano include CD players and safes. Guests can use the in-room complimentary wireless high-speed Internet access. Televisions are equipped with satellite channels and DVD players. Guests share bathrooms and amenities include bathrobes. In addition, housekeeping is offered daily and amenities available on request include hair dryers.

This B&B was difficult to find because it is on the 7th floor of a building with no sign other than the name next to the building's buzzer. Check-in was... a bit confusing because we had to go down to another floor in the building to find the lady to check us in. The 'hotel' is basically a 3 or 4 bedroom apartment (2 bathrooms) that was turned into a B&B. The room was good-sized with a queen bed, desk, dresser/armoire, a sofa, and a flat-screen TV. The view was pretty nice since you could see St. Peter's Basilica out the window and there was a balcony, but that was shared with the other rooms on that side of the B&B. The street below had a lot of traffic noise at all hours, which may be bothersome to light sleepers. The breakfast was basic with rolls, cold cereal, and juice. The area immediately around the B&B was not the best. And while there were no immediate safety concerns throughout our stay, the look and feel of the area made it seem like a place to watch your bags and wallets. The B&B was located on the back side of the Vatican so the walk around it to the entrance would probably have been about 25 minutes. We opted to walk 5 minutes to the subway station, ride for about 2-3 minutes to the station nearest the Vatican, then walk another 5 minutes to get in. The location is still a long walk to the Vatican and a train ride to the main sites in Rome. This is a bed and breakfast and they have signs all over stating that there is no one around after 6PM or before 9am. Also, they got mad at my friend for eating a cookie when it was past breakfast time. I understand sometimes you have to be frugal .. but the […] way they handled it was not very hospitable. The hotel was nice and quiet, although the microwave didn't work and there were cockroaches in the hall, but not in the very room. Location is good, not that central as we thought though. The owner of the place is very sweet!

nice enough place and the owners are friendly but the room we had was very small and, while i'm not sure what the going rate for rome is, 70 euros seemed a little excessive for what we got.

Very nice place, clean and comfortable. More similar to a hotel than an hostel. Very nice breakfast. Relatively near the metro, and 20 min walk from Vatican, and no more than 35 min from the center. The room had a very nice television and air conditioning, and also a view over the top of St Peter Basilica.

The B&B was quite nice situated next to the metro station and the Vatican city. City tax 2e/person/night was not included in the price and the breakfast was bit poor. :( The owner was very nice and helpful. It was a good stay, bit expensive for B&B but a lot cheaper than most hotels in Rome that weekend.

We had a great stay at Roma Vaticano! Well worth the money, The service was good and our room was clean and really nice. The only thing that was negative is that the hotel is a bit off. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the Tiber by feet, but there is a Metro really close to the hotel.
