It was my husband's 65th birthday and he really needed to get away and rest, so we chose this hotel up above Grindelwald for peach and quiet and great views. We were planning to take a walk up the mountainside, but it was snowing when we woke up. However with internet and a flatscreen TV, we were content to stay snug in the room and really rest. The hotel had just been open for 6 weeks, so everything was brand new. The chef prepared excellent meals and we were very warmly welcomed and looked after. The one thing we missed was having a coffee maker in the room.

Personal attention of hotel staff at check-in, breakfast and check-out. Amazing unobstructed view of alps across the street. Completely clean room and bathroom. Comfortable beds in spacious quad room. Great location. Memorable stay. We will look forward to returning!

Kjempefint hotell i en kjempefin dal, masse opplevelser i umiddelbar nærhet. Problemet er at ingen av personalet behersker engelsk. Dette var både utfordrende og spennende. Vi endte med å prøve å tolke resturant-menyen med hjelp at google-translate, men tildels overaskende resultater!
