      Excellent hotel staff. Very helpful to point out on map nice restaurants and sites close to the hotel. Breakfast was good each morning and restaurant was very good...opens at 8:00 PM at night.

    Not only was this the most overpriced hotel of our stay but they fail to mention that there is a cinema right next door to the hotel that blasts through the hotel walls until midnight. The rooms are also tiny and very dated. Only saving grace is the central location.

    The Palace is well located, near to most major sights. It is in a lovely old palazzo, with impressive public areas. Service is friendly and helpful. The guest rooms are a bit small but not excessively so, with comfortable beds and solid, attractive furniture providing plenty of storage place for clothes, both hanging and folded. There is a small refrigerator, […] although it is not stocked and does not keep food or drinks really cold. The one big problem was the air conditioning, which did nothing at all to help, making the room very uncomfortably hot in mid July.     Old Art Deco Hotel that is a great place to stay if you are on a budget and just need a place for a night. Big wide hallways, lovely lobby area with Wi-Fi. Central location but you will need a taxi to the train station.

    The hotell is located conveniently in the city center. The building looks good from the outside, but the inside there is a lack of maintenance. The service is not good, and extra bed was of a very poor standard. It is an expensive hotell compared to the present standard.

    Sentral beliggenhet i en rolig bakgate, rett ved Piazza Maggiore. Kunne ikke vært bedre. Hotellet er gammelt, men veldig fint, med blomstrete tapeter og høyt i taket. Veldig rent og pent. Vi hadde utsikt utover byen. Trivelig og hjelpsomt personale som snakker engelsk. Frokost inkludert, smakte godt, men litt søtt. Mulighet til å kjøpe snacks og drikke […] i automater på hotellet hele døgnet og på dagtid mulighet til å kjøpe kaffe osv. i hotel baren og nyte i den trivelige lobbyen. Litt knirkete gulv på rommet og god seng utenom at fjørene i madrassen var litt markert, det hjalp å legge et teppe under lakenet. Behagelig temperatur på rommet, regulerbar varme og vinduer til å lufte på bad og rom. Pent fliselagt bad. Rene håndklær og oppreiing hver dag. Vi var veldig fornøyd og bor gjerne der igjen!! Det er et lite stykke å gå fra/til sentralbanestasjonen, men det var så mye fint å se på veien at det gjorde ingenting. Hvis man har mye å dra på, ta gjerne taxi t/r flyplassen, det var rimelig. :-) Read more

    Perfekt centralt läge verkligen mitt i Bologna. Rummet på tredje våningen med knarrande golv och gammal heltäckningsmatta som jag inte vill veta hur många år den hade legat där. Hotellfrukosten var riktigt bra med många val. Hotellet var gammalt och slitet, men med bra service och personalen pratade bra engelska.

    I stayed at Hotel Palace for five nights in july 2012 and was satisfied with my stay. The hotel is located almost perfect with only a few minutes on foot to the central square Piazza Maggiore. The twin bed room was large and so was the bathroom, and the air condition worked as it should. It was also possible to use free WiFi in the room even though […] the signal was a bit weak.     Tired hotel ... faded grandeur. Unimpressive when it came to security - flimsy doors, people able to walk around the hotel unhindered, travel documents required by hotel staff left on open display until picked up, etc.

    The hotell is located conveniently in the city center. The building looks good from the outside, but the inside there is a lack of maintenance. The service is not good, and extra bed was of a very poor standard. It is an expensive hotell compared to the present standard.

    Hotellet ligger perfekt mitt i Bologna! Bredvid fantastiska glasstället Gelateria Gianni med den godaste pistageglassen. Rummet helt ok, rymligt med fräscht badrum. Men min säng var stenhård! Jag fick dock en ny som var bättre när jag bad om det. Man måste bara be om det på morgonen, för om man frågar på eftermiddagen är det för sent! Detta irriterade […] mig eftersom jag tvingades ligga på den hårda madrassen en natt till innan jag kunde få en ny. Frukosten var inte imponerande, men det viktigaste fanns: gott kaffe, juice, yoghurt och olika croissanter att välja på. Bra med fri wifi, men synd att det bara var i lobbyn och frukostsalen.
