"Post Riot Zone"
Nice location, extremely central. Appts are clean, functional but limited Midnight to dawn though, streets full of night clubbers (50mtrs down road), not in night club though (too hot). Morning like after, a riot zone (hence title) Cans, bottles, litter, office assured of quiet Apt when asked about previous feedback along similar lines, liars:- take […] your money & run. "Good central base for Madrid"
Great location and lovely apartment. We went for a short break with 2 kids under 6. Great value compared with any hotel. You need a smart phone to get details of how you get your key once you land.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great apartment and location"
Great alternative to a hotel room in a good central location for most tourist attractions, shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend for groups of friends and it is suitable for family stays too. Room was a little worn but very clean and exactly what we needed for a touristy visit. Fridge, cooker and microwave an extra bonus. Small supermarket […] very close buy that sold all major items. No staff immediately to hand (the apartment is in more of a residential building) but this was not a problem as we had no issues. Full contact details were included in the pack up and they had an office nearby. Taxi from airport took approx 30mins in traffic.

"Basic clean and central"

I also stayed in apartment c on the ground floor which was a bit poky and noisy but clean and fairly comfortable, reasonable for the price I paid, 220 Euros for 3 nights for 3 people. There is no indication on the websites of which apartment you are getting. The apartment is very noisy, right next to the main door which slams hard every time someone goes in or out so if you are sleeping in the living room it can be a bit of a pain. Piamonte street is not a main street but still there was also a lot of noise coming in through the windows. If you are a light sleeper try not to get this apartment, if you understand that Madrid is one of the noisiest cities in the world then you know what to expect. The apartment is 2 minutes from Chueca metro or 10 minutes from Banco and the Plaza de Cibeles. If you are coming from the airport pay the 5 euros for the bus, get off at Cibeles and it's an easy walk, It'll save you two stops on the metro and in the end you will walk less, Even if the bus is a bit more expensive. Getting into the property was a bit confused as other guests have commented. The phone number provided didn't answer and then when someone did answer I was told to phone back the next day since it was an emergency number only. In the end I took my chances and just turned up on the day, spoke to service staff who contacted the office who debited my credit card over the phone. There is a Carrefour Express shop just down the street, plenty of pubs and bars around also but if you are not into the gay scene make sure you don't wander into Boyz R Uz bar with your granny by mistake. Head over to Tribunal and the Plaza dos de Mayo for bars and nightlife, Gran Via and Sol or shopping are a walk away.
"There is a Night Club across the street from Apt C"
10/19/13 MargaretofBaggage Sydney, Australia
Apartment C faces the street at ground level. I thought that I had booked an internal courtyard apartment. The web site was not clear to me. On the otherside of the street there is a Night Club which goes until 6am in the morning on Fri and Sat nights, 4am on Thurs. This is a real problem for some people and should be pointed out. Overall the apartment showed a lack of hands on care with some furniture falling apart. The chopping and cutting knives in the kitchen were blunt and poor to begin with. There was no bread knife. The apartment needed a good audit by the manager. The apartment received no direct sunlight during our stay. Apartment C was the worst place we stayed in in our month in Spain and the most expensive.
"Basic,centrally located apartments"

I stayed in these apartments with a group of friends for a hen do. The apartments are in a good central location. We were able to walk most places and there is a metro just a couple of minutes up the road. The apartments are clean, well equipped and quite spacious. Some of us stayed in apartments at the front of the building and they were fairly noisy but I guess this is to be expected staying in a busy city. Checking in took some time. The building also has residential apartments. It is difficult to work out how to get in. Once in staff take quite a while to check you in. Also be warned you are asked for £150 deposit on credit or debit card. They will take this money from your account and not return it until a few days after you return. That said our money was returned no problem. Overall good apartments for the price in a central location.
"safe and convenient location"

i recommend this place because the neighbourhood is safe, accessible and interesting. the metro station is just 5 min walk away, there are plenty of food and drink places and many interesting shops. slight problem is that the bedrooms are up a flight of stairs within the duplex apartment unit.

Firstly, the location is fantastic, just 1 metro stop or 15mins walk from Gran Via and main tourist spots, I couldn't find a better apartment for this value with a location like this. The apartments themselves are clean, spacious, comfortable and modern. A problem is the layout of the building itself, whereby the apartments are mixed with full-time residents around a narrow courtyard, maximising echoes and noise at night. We were there for a lads weekend so it didn't really bother us, but might others. My only problem was with the service. Check-in was quick once we eventually found the door (no signs) and got let in by a resident, however we had pre-paid so there wasn't much to do. One of the staff wouldn't get off her mobile phone so we had to wait at the door then they didn't offer much insight or advice into the city and didn't even have maps for us to borrow. The more questions you ask, the less interested they seemed. However, as this is an apartment complex, I can see how their job is merely to issue keys and not offer any concierge services (eg. we couldn't store our bags for the day on the day of checkout). My advice would be to pay the 4 euros a day for the wireless and do the research yourself if you have a laptop. I would still probably stay here again now that I know the city and I know how good the location is for the price.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. We traveled with a 1 year old and a 3 year old and four adults. The place was very clean and in a great location. The only thing that I would make you aware if you have a crawling baby is that upstairs in the bedrooms there is a walkway that isn't supported on each side very well so when my baby slept w us in the bed and not in the cot for one night he crawled off bed and in my horror I thought he may have crawled through the barrier of the walkway and fallen to the level below. We should have left him in the babycot. Otherwise I and my family had a very pleasant stay at the staff were very accommodating.
"Great apartment right in the centre"
03/07/12 Stefan P Manchester, United Kingdom
We stayed at the Piamonte Apartments for a weekend sightseeing in March. The complex is easy to find and within walking distance to all the sights Madrid has to offer. The apartment was modern and clean and we had no problems during our stay. Would recommend to anyone who is travelling to Madrid!! Supermarket right at the end of the road... Great for people on a budget!
"Excellent apartments in the center of Madrid."

Excellent apartments in the center of Madrid. There is a kitchen, big refrigerator, washing machine. Very conveniently for families with children. Quiet place. There is a supermarket near the apartments. Next to the apartments there are many bars. Minuses – There were problems with the reservation at check in.

The flats are clean, basic and quite centrally located in Madrid town Centre. Chueca is a very nice place, full of restaurants and bars. Very lively at night. We stayed on the groung floor on flat BI, next to their office and when we try to open the sofa- bed it was broken. My daugthers had to sleep on the floor. Next morning , I told the cleaning ladies and the were like Oh Oh!. Instead of offering and apology. We spend another night on flat 2B wich was much better, with small balconies and everything was perfect. Later on I got and Email from Fernando, (the manager) , charging me 35€ for the repair of the sofa- bed. I just could not believed that they were blaming me. He said he trusted his cleaning ladies (obviously) and he thought it was fair. This is my one and only try at any apartments, next time will get a nice hotel where you got rights and if there is a problem they will solve it and not treat you like the suspect!!!!
"Loved the apartment and area"
10/02/11 EliMiami Miami
We stayed in the Piamonte Apts. in July 2011. Loved the location, Chueca is great. It is the gay section of Madrid and it is full of restaurants and nightlife. The streets were full at 2am on a Tuesday which is what I love about Spain. The apartments were very roomy for my family of 4, especially with 2 teen boys who wanted their own space. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The futons were very comfortable. Loved the upstairs/downstairs configuration. The Chueca station is close by. Visiting the new Mercado de San Anton is a must for foodies. Awesome and around the corner. Markets very close by as well for groceries. Will definitely stay again.
