I loved staying here! O'Donoghues is located in one of the best areas of Dublin. I was able to easily walk to Grafton Street, Temple Bar, City Centre, and Trinity College. Taxis and the bus are also readily available and nearby. The room was comfortable and clean. To be fair, this isn't the fanciest place to stay in Dublin, and it's certainly not for […] families, but for a single or even a couple who needs no frills, it was great--and priced right. The noise from the bar didn't bother me too much; the noise from the busy street below was more annoying, but definitely not enough for me not to highly recommend this place. "Location great but too loud"
The staff is nice and helpful when they are around. The rooms are small but come with the essentials. Obviously it is right above the pub so it can get very loud, especially at closing time when all the drunk people start filling out. You can hear the taxis and other cars honking their horns right outside your window. We stayed in two different rooms, […] one on the first floor, and then on the second (we took trips outside of Dublin, then came back to o'donoghues to stay). The noise level did not vary much, it was still loud. Beds aren't very comfy, but I wasn't really expecting them to be. Jeg synes O`donoghue`s var en veldig bra plass å sove! De som jobbet dær var hyggelige, rommet var rent, veldig sentralt å billig! Det er en pub i nederste etasje som er standard irsk, noe jeg likte veldig godt! Det er en del støy på kveldene, men jeg hadde ikke noe imot det. Was will man mehr? ein Spaziergang weg von der Graffton, ebenso die Tempel Bar und der Park vor der Nase... und direkt über einem von den Dubs sehr rege frequentierten Pub!
