The location is perfect, right across the street from the Valporetto (the water bus). Eugenio, the concierge is the best I have experienced in any hotel in any country. He went out of his way to make our stay wonderful. Coffee and tea any time of day, letting me use the hotel computer (several times), arranging a free motorboat ride to the glass works in Murano,marking a map with the number of the valporetto to take (including the times for when we had to leave early to get to the airport, and just being one of the nicest people I have ever met! The room was spacious and immaculate with three windows, one overlooking the Grand Canal. The bathroom was spotless and well lit, even had a towel warmer for the towels, the heating control was well appreciated since it snowed the day we arrived! With the Valporetto station just across the street it is easy to get anywhere in Venice. About 20 minutes from the bus station at Pont Roma on the 5.1 to the hotel. Or take the line 1 and cruise down the Grand Canal on the way to the hotel. I love Lido since one doesn't have to cross bridges or walk a long way to the hotel and there are many restaurant choices within a 2 block area.

Très bien situé, chambre de taille tout à fait honorable, bon rapport qualité/prix. La proximité de la place animée ne pose pas de problème en hiver, j'hésiterais davantage aux beaux jours pour le bruit probable.

You can not get closer. Walking distance to everything. This is not really a hotel but more of a guest house with a few rooms. Restricted times for check in and check out. Very clean and very comfortable. The rooms are big if you order one overlooking the Piazza. LCD satellite television. Wireless internet not working properly on the top floor but otherwise […] fine. The hotel is at Padua nocturnal nightlife and it is not exactly silent. But if you close the wooden doors of the window, it becomes quite acceptable. No elevator and no adjustment for the disabled. Der Start war unglücklich, da niemand zur angegebenen Zeit vor Ort war, Der Besitzer kam erst nach telefonischem Kontakt. Unser Zimmer lag zum Platz heraus, sodass man die quirligen Abendstunden und den Aufbau des Wochenmarktes am nächsten Tag auch vom Fenster miterleben konnte. Bei geschlossenem Fenster war aber Ruhe. Das Fernsehgerät ließ sich nicht […] bedienen und da der Besitzer nicht vor Ort war, konnte das Problem nicht gelöst werden. Also rechtzeitig alles fragen. Read more
