Excellent service, as always. Signore Guglielmo is the nicest b&b owner we've ever met. He does not speak English, but his son, who helps him run the business does, so we had no problem at all with communication. The room was nice and quiet, big enough for two people. The location can't be beat, being only a block away from the Termini train station. There's a beautiful church a couple of blocks in the other direction - Santa Maria Maggiore - definitely worth visiting.

"Spotless, Super friendly, Great Location!"
We are so lucky to have found this hotel and stayed there for 8 nights in November 2015. While the area might not be quaint and building exterior luxurious, what you will find is a friendly, accommodating, spotless hotel room 50 steps from the Roma Termini station. Upon arrival, Lorenzo greeted us with coffee/tea/juice/cake for refreshment. The room is so clean, even the normally dusty areas (under bed, above shelves) are spotless. The room is huge in European standard, and wifi is fast and steady. Every morning you get a sufficient breakfast of warm crispy croissant, yogurt, toast, juice, and made-to-order coffee. In the room you can make tea and store food in the mini-fridge. Almost everything in the room is kept to near-new condition. While the area might be noisy, the shutter/soundproof windows all helped bring down the noise level. I am sensitive to noise, and with the windows closed, I could barely hear anything. La Girandola is truly family-run, and they only have three rooms available. We got to experience the Italian hospitality, and they really raised the bar on what they call "clean".

Rekommenderas varmt.

"Great value B&B in Rome"

While the entrance is not the best the B&B was close to Termini which was helpful as we planned our trip around Rome & further south. We arrived late and were given tea, juices and biscuits. Much appreciated. While the accommodation is not luxurious it was spotless. Breakfast was simple with a yoghurt, pastries, orange juice & tea/coffee.

"Great Bed and Breakfast "

There are only three rooms at this place, so once you know your dates book it quick! The owner was like a mom who took care of everyone who stayed there. Breakfast is free, and it's very substantial. You get free wifi. It's only a couple blocks from Termini Station. If I'm ever in Rome again I will stay there.

Very clean, close to Termini station. Cozy room, hot shower. The owner and staff were super nice. A bit hard to find, but that's even better! Wifi worked perfect. Breakfast modest but yummy. I would definitely go back!

We stayed in Rome for two nights 9-10 January 2015 at La Girandola with our two sons booking two rooms ; we opted for an affordable option close to the train station on our way back home not expecting much ! We found the front door with ease in an unexciting street ; We were very happy to find a friendly reception, clean rooms and great breakfast at the B&B Great value and friendly service

"Great value, easy location"

B & B was very easy to find from station, we were met upon arrival and shown our room which was a pleasant surprise. Room was large, clean, decent bathroom (small shower) and even had a fridge. Whilst the host does not speak much English he understood it was our first time in Rome and showed us on a map the big places to visit and how to get to them. Breakfast is simple but nice. We stayed 5 nights and were overall very happy with our accomondation and location. The station also has some good food options and a big supermarket.

"Super B + B"

A great B+B so close to the Railway Station....( just don't trust the map ) best thing when arriving is to go out the left Exit doors from the main platform, cross the pedestrian crossing and turn left. Take the 2nd street ( about 150 mtrs ) and turn right. It will be on your left walking down about 100 mtrs or so. Lovely clean spacious with a super family who own it. The breakfast is minimal, but everything else Very good... would be happy to stay there again.

I stayed at La Girandola for 2 nights, because I arrive at night and it is not on a particularly pretty looking street, I thought my god what had I come too. I couldn't be more wrong, the room was spotlessly clean, the ensuite shower room modern, clean and bright. The family that run this 3 bedroom B&B are so accommodating and if you have any language problem, there son Lorenzo speaks good English. For 90euro a night including breakfast (Yoghurt, brioche and coffee), free wifi and walking distance to the Termini, you can not go wrong. Also in the area is a lot of restaurants and bars at reasonable price, of course most are for the tourist, so don't expect the best Italian food!

"Good B&B for an overnight"
05/28/12 forsl Tucson, Arizona
We needed an inexpensive B&B near the Termini train station in Rome for the night of May 23, 2012, so that we could catch an early flight the next day from the airport. We walked the block or two from the station, rang the bell, and were greeted by a pleasant gentleman who spoke no English. He got us settled in and understood our sign language enough to order us a cab for the next morning. After that, we saw no one, since we left before breakfast was served the next day. The B&B is on the second floor (one flight up) and appears to have only three rooms. Ours was small but extremely clean and comfortable. The furniture seemed new and everything well cared for. It was odd not seeing anyone other than our host (briefly), but the arrangement met our needs perfectly. The neighborhood is certainly not the best in Rome, but it seemed safe enough and there were restaurants nearby. One was just around the corner. So, it met our needs perfectly and cost only 90 Euros.

Easy to find and you can walk from the Termini station if your luggage has wheels. The owner offered each of s coffee on arrival. BUT : he does not understand or speak any other language the Italian. Not a word ! Obtaining information is thus impossible. Room very small. Bathroom with toilet en suite. Well isolated from (loud) street below. Wifi and breakfast included. This is a good budget alternative to the atrociously expensive hotels in this sity-center.
