"A little bit of Turkey in Montreal"
I was greeted by the manager, a lovely Turkish gentleman named Turgay. He not only carried my bags upstairs to my room (there is no elevator)he invited me to a Turkish film festival playing nearby. It was a very charming room in a convenient location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were very pleased. This was a wonderful, affordable option for a family of four (with two small children).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We only had a one night stay wanting to visit with friends on the "plateau" and this location was very good and the price point was just right. Parking was a bit inconvenient but no real problem. The long flight of stairs to the reception might be a problem for the mobility-challenged. The Bistro on the ground floor was much better than any of the fast-food […] places nearby. This would be a place for a longer stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Great location. Room OK, but book a room on the upper level. You can hear people walking in the room above.Genuine Expedia guest review

I stayed here with my family on a recent visit to McGill University. The location was great, and the room was very nice - clean and comfortable. The hotel owner and employees were extremely pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended, I would choose this hotel again when I visit Montreal.
"Friendly, comfortable, well-located."

This was our second stay at the Parc Suites. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the suite we were in was extremely clean and comfortable; it felt like being at home. It is also very nicely decorated. It is close to Rue Saint-Laurent shopping, McGill, the Musee des beaux-arts, Mont Royal, a couple of blocks from a Metro station and only a few blocks from Saint Catherine Street so very well located. We walked most places, and took the Metro to and from Old Montreal but there is a 24 hour cab stand a block and a half away on Prince Arthur if you need one. Despite being on a bit of a busy street, it is quiet unless you are on the first floor and have noisy people above you. You can hear people walking around upstairs, but this wasn't a problem for us either visit. We would definitely go back.
"Fantastic little gem"

I needed a last-minute reservation in Montréal and was having trouble finding a suitable place when I came across this establishment online. I'm surprised it wasn't fully booked because there are only 8 rooms and they are very clean and comfortable. The proprietors are wonderful people, friendly and very helpful. You do have to walk a bit (or take the metro) to reach some of the more popular areas, but this was not a big issue. The long flight of stairs could also be an issue for some but the owner was helpful with our luggage. I loved having a kitchenette in the room and a grocery store just down the street because we were able to save money by not eating every meal out. I recommend this hotel without reservation!

Even though this hotel received good reviews, I am leery of small hotels. There are only 8 rooms. But the pictures on the site are accurate, the rooms beautiful, cozy, updated and very clean and spacious. The gentleman at the front desk was fantastic. He showed me to my room, explained everything in it, including how to use the phone. This was my daughter's 16th birthday and she was attending a concert and was staying at a condo across the street. Unfortunately, there was a mix up and the condo was occupied. There wasn't enough space in my room for her and her friends. Every hotel in the city was pretty much booked, plus I wanted her close to me. He called a friend, who rented out his condo to my daughter and her 7 friends. I don't know what we would have done without him. Super friendly, he showed me all the restaurants in the area, coffee houses and stores. He even drove with me to a store when I needed to purchase something and didn't know where it was. I'd forgotten my wallet and he loaned me the money until we got back to the hotel. The hotel is conveniently located close to downtown. Great place and for the price you get a small kitchen.
"Service-oriented small hotel with great location."

We stayed at Parc Suites for two weeks in September and gladly recommend it. The hotel is in an great location at the intersection of downtown Montreal, McGill University and the Plateau Mont Royal neighborhoods. It is convenient to public transit - about two blocks to the subway at Place de Arts and bus 80 on Avenue du Parc. The immediate neighborhood around the hotel is dominated by McGill students. There are two fine restaurants, Pullman and Isakaya, within steps of the hotel, and two markets and seven coffee shops within a half-block. This is a modest hotel both in size (only 8 rooms) and décor and it is priced accordingly. Its special feature is service. The owner and manager, Turgay Demirdogan, and his staff were very attentive, helpful and pleasant. The only challenging feature of the hotel is its long entry stairway and lack of elevator. When we made our reservation, M. Demirdogan, called to make sure we had no trouble with stairs. He also went out of his way to carry our bags up the stairs on arrival and down again on departure (at 4:30 AM!).

Myself and 2 friends did a weekend in Montreal, and this hotel was a good base of operations. It was 3 guys, and within the suite we had 3 separate beds which was important, and the room had a full fridge, stove, etc, which was convenient. It was only a few minutes walk down to St. Catherine St, and a few minutes more down to Old Montreal. The wifi worked well. Free parking was a plus, although the parking area is pretty sketchy. But my car wasn't damaged or touched or anything. I'd stay here again if I came to Montreal.
"Perfect Location and Excellent Hosts"
09/28/14 Musicmanmiller Minneapolis, Minnesota
My wife and I stayed in room 7 on a layover in route to Quebec City and then for three nights in room 8 a week later on our return to Montreal before flying home to Minneapolis. We're in our sixties and have traveled often in the U.S. staying at B&Bs, chain hotels and boutique hotels. We're cost-conscious but enjoy comfort and convenience. For our latest trip we relied on Trip Advisor reviews. The high ratings given for Parc Suites are accurate. Turgay and Tina are gracious, informative and responsive. Although there is no elevator, both hosts transported our luggage and personally showed us our rooms. The rooms were very clean and attractively decorated. Kitchens are stocked with all the equipment you need for meal prep and bathrooms contained all the usual supplies. The street is busy with tourists and students at all hours so we never felt that safety was an issue. Price is on par if not better than other hotel choices in the area. Room 7 is a queen bed suite on the front side (third floor) of the property that is perfectly sized for a couple. We enjoyed sitting on the small balcony (part of the fire escape system) and watching the street scene below. Because the walls are at least a foot thick and windows are modern double-pane style there was no problem with noise inside. Room 8 is a king bed suite on the backside (third floor) that offers more room for a family. Bedroom, sitting room and bathroom are all larger than room 7. The bath contains a shower and tub combination. The view from the balcony is not as enjoyable as room 7, but the extra space is a good trade-off. Included are free phone calls including to the U.S., free and fast wifi, air-conditioning (not always a given in boutique hotels), concierge services by Turgay/Tina, excellent maid service, and large TVs in living room and bedroom. The location is superb! It is a fifteen-minute walk to the excellent art museum on Sherbrooke, Montreal Basilica, Mount Royal Park, McGill campus and lots of great shopping. Another five to ten minutes of walking takes you to the harbor area of Old Montreal with historic buildings, good restaurants, gardens and the Museum of Archaeology and History. Finally, although there are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops right outside the hotel, we made use of the suite's kitchen for breakfasts, picnic prep and a dinner. If that's your plan, there are two up-scale grocery stores and a SAQ wine shop in the underground shopping center just up the street at Ave du Parc and Rue Prince Arthur. "Eden" has excellent pre-prepared dishes of all kinds as well as deli supplies for hiking Mount Royal. We will stay at Parc Suites again when in Montreal.
"Brilliant hotel right in the city centre"

We spent a week in Parc Suites Hotel and enjoyed every minute of it. I am the sleeper from Hell and had emailed asking for the quietest room. When we arrived, Tina rushed to carry our luggage to our suite, which was spacious and filled with everything we could possibly want, a microwave, an oven, saucepans, cutlery and plates etc, including a full size refrigerator with a freezer section easily large enough to put in 10 whole frozen key lime pies but we only bought one as we were looking after our figures! There were two large flat screen televisions and a D.V.D. player; you could borrow D.V.D.s from reception. The bathroom had the best toilet paper of the holiday, so soft! The suite was right at the back on the top floor with a king size bed, and the sofa bed in the lounge opened into a queen. I had the best sleep of the whole holiday. The location was wonderful as it was in the heart of the city just over a block from the subway, and by booking directly with the hotel you even get a FREE car parking space There was a great supermarket - Provigo - a few doors away, which sold the most delicious ciabatta with sun-dried tomatoes and roasted peppers, homemade soups etc. and that key lime pie. The hotel does not have a lift and you have to climb a flight of stairs to get to reception and the first level of rooms. However Tina and Terguy insist on carrying your cases for you. When we left Terguy said, "We do not have an elevator, I am the elevator." He carried all our luggage to the bottom of the stairs, drove our car around from the car park to the front door and helped load the luggage. Both he and Tina were wonderful hosts, very helpful with directions, always smiling and taking an interest in what you had been doing. If we return to Montreal again, we would certainly stay at the Parc Suites again.
"Modest exterior, surprisingly comfortable interior"

We have stayed here twice now, on two successive years, and will stay again if/when we are in Montreal. We stayed in room 2, which has a complete kitchen, a large bed in one room and a sofa bed in the living area. There was a TV and Wi-Fi. Everything was spotless. The space is not spacious but was fine for the two of us. The desk is not always manned. Last year there was, as other reviewers have noted, a beggar fairly close to the front door, but also, strangely, he was not at all threatening or discomfiting. He wasn't there this year. The restaurant adjacent to the hotel is well worth at least one visit. The owner is friendly and helpful. I recommend it.
