"Comfortable, clean and convenient"
Very comfortable b&b with air conditioning and a tasty traditional Italian breakfast. The owner is extremely friendly, and takes pride in her business--meaning that she makes sure her guests are happy and that the rooms and shared bathroom is always clean. In addition she provides guests with information and maps of all the surrounding sights. It is […] in a convenient location, close to Sorrento but outside the constant stream of tourists. It definitely a wonderful stay! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very knowledgeable and caring host"
My fiancée and I are travelers from Canada and stayed here for 5 nights in a private room and shared bathroom. Rachele is the sweetest host you can ask for! The place is kept absolutely spotless and neat. When we arrived, Rachele sat with us and spoke about the things we could see in Sorrento, as well as the other places we planned to visit, such as […] the Amalfi Coast, Positano, and Pompeii. Rachele provided us with sample tickets that we would need to purchase to use the local transit as well as brochures and other things to read about the various attractions. She also has excellent recommendations for restaurants in Piano. At breakfast, she serves hot croissants and delicious cappuccinos! She also includes yogurt and orange juice. She will ask for your preferred time for breakfast. On the morning that we had to leave, Rachele provided us with cappuccinos and take-away croissants. She also advised us that in Piano, there is a direct bus to the Naples Airport for only 10 Euros. Rachele is very informative, and loves to chat with her guests. She provides wonderful service, and welcomes you in to the house. Rachele really made our stay great and with her advice, we had a fantastic time in Piano and the surrounding area. We would love to stay here again! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great Location in a Lovely Town"
Fantastic location in a wonderful little town, close to restaurants, shopping, groceries, whatever you need. Extremely clean room, with an extremely attentive land lady Rachelle. Only knock is the shared bathroom, but that was manageable. Overall, good value for the money.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean and good location"
It is a great location. Easy access to Sorrento. It is not in Sorrento. It is located in Piano, two stations away from Sorrento where you you get to Amalfi and Positano. Pompeii is also a few train stations away.Rachele is very helpful. She also help plan my trip. The acccomodation is very clean and tidy and located in a quiet location. It takes approximately […] an hour from Napoli train station to Piano. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I'd stayed with Rachel in mid-June and it was a wonderful experience. Her house is beautifully decorated and I especially enjoyed her seafood restaurant recommendation that was in the plaza right next to the flat. At first I had my reservations before I had booked, because it was located in Piano in Sorrento rather than Sorrento, however it wasn't a […] problem at all! Piano had many circumvesuviana trains running, I think about 3-4 an hour through Piano. It was very easy to visit the historical sights such as Pompeii and Herculaneum, and it was easy to travel to Sorrento too. During our stay we also went to Amalfi and did the God's walk. It's easy to find the b&b and it is literally 5 mins walk from the Piano di Sorrento circumvesuviana stop, perfect if you're planning to use public transport for your stay. we absolutely loved it and would definitely go back :) Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Rachele goes above and beyond to welcome you to her home and her piece of paradise in Italy. She thoughtfully offers directions and guidance and prepares a breakfast for you based on your plan for the day. The accommodations are clean and quiet and I loved the restaurant suggestions she gave just near her home. Grazie Mille!
"Glimpse into a local Italian's life..."
03/08/15 yunicorn78 Seoul, South Korea
My friend and I were backpacking across Europe and we decided to stay in a mixture of lodgings for our trip- hotels, hostels, farmhouses, vacation rentals, B & B's and more! I was looking forward to staying with a local Italian to get a glimpse into the culture and I was not disappointed! When I had arrived in Piano Sorrento, I was struggling with my luggage. I had purchased a very cheap one (in Rome) and the wheels had started to fall off as I pulled it across the cobblestone streets. Rachele, our host, helped me find a suitable luggage store in the neighborhood and I managed to purchase a much better one. She also helped me get rid of my old luggage as it is not easy to throw away large sized items. She was extremely helpful and kind. Rachele is a charming host and her house was spotless. I was impressed with the quality and style of her furnishings. She takes pride in her home and it shows. I know that Italians are known for their attention for beauty but I was really amazed by how she styled her lovely home. If you are into that kind of stuff, she would be happy to chat with you about it. As soon as we arrived, Rachele sat both of us down, and explained to us the things that we could do in the area. She even told us to give her name when we purchased tickets for a boat tour in Capri so that we could receive a discount. Apparently, her father was a captain and so she knew the people working in the industry. For breakfast, she served us croissants and cappuccinos and some other sweet pastries. If you are a healthy eater or if you expect a continental breakfast, you will be disappointed. Apparently, the locals do not eat breakfast, or get something similar to what we were served so I was fine with the breakfast^^ Her apartment was a short walk to the train station (10-15 minutes). The weather was lovely and as you walked, you could see the other houses in the neighborhood. We were only only a short train ride away to Sorreno. The location is perfect because it is close enough to Sorrento yet not having to pay Sorrento hotel prices. Thank you Rachele for your hospitality! -Stayed in Sept~

Rachele is probably the most friendly and helpful host I have ever had. When we arrived, she talked us through the area, and all the restaurants and sights she recommended. Her accommodation was excellent, and the advice and directions she gave were super helpful. She helped us with planning our day trips to Amalfi, and Pompeii, and her suggestions turned out to be top notch.

"Casa Rachele is il meglio del meglio."

Our stay at Casa Rachele was our best ever holiday. Rachele is so warm, welcoming and friendly that from the minute you step into her house you feel like a member of her family, and a part of the community at Piano di Sorrento. Rachele will help you with planning your excursions, and has all the brochures and tickets with prices. The breakfast are delicious, and her beautiful home is scrupulously clean. Our bedroom was lovely, with a view overlooking the bay and one of the town squares, which was lit up for the festival of St Michael. The windows have a mosquito blind, as well as a drop down shutter to keep out the light, and two lots of glazing to keep out noise. It was very quiet anyway. The other bedroom is bigger, and has the most beautiful antique furniture. Rachele changes the linen and towels every two days. Rachele lets you know the best restaurants and shops, and you are extra well treated if you mention her name. We walked into the wrong restaurant by mistake once, and could really tell the difference in quality. One of Rachele's recommendations, Pepe's, has the most fantastic real Italian food. It is really atmospheric, and Pepe was a really wonderful host. Andrea the grocer sells delicious sandwiches, with local tomatoes and real parma ham and the best mozzarella. If you are looking for handmade sandals, for which the area is famous, then Andrea the shoemaker will make you a pair to fit in 10 minutes, and at around half the price of Anna Capri. He has just the same styles, and gave me the option of a non slip sole too. Some of the clothes for the more expensive shops in Sorrento and Capri etc are made in Piano. My husband bought some beautiful shirts very cheaply, and on our last day he wanted to buy a shirt for our son. The shop, Corso Italia, was closed for stocktaking, but opened especially to let him purchase the shirt. Piano di Sorrento is a lovely little town to explore, and the beach area is very beautiful, and so quiet. We met a few other tourists who were staying in Sorrento, who were really impressed, and wished they had booked for Piano. Unlike modern Sorrento, which is lovely to visit, but very busy and full of tourists, Piano is a taste of the real Italy. We really miss Rachele, and Piano. Casa Rachele is il meglio del meglio.
"Great stay for specific clientel"

The rooms and facilities at Casa Rachele were excellent - Rachele keeps a clean and impeccable housekeeping service and both the room and shared toilet were always spotless. Breakfast was nicely prepared always keeping in mind our preferences. I might add that Rachele is warm and caring and loves to sit and chat with her guests. She is insightful of the area and can give lots of tips of where to eat and how to get around. A few things to note: the b&b is not located in Sorrento proper but in a small town just outside, only a few train stops away. Ideal for a quiet stay but only slightly inconvenient if you want to be in the thick of the action and not have to plan your trips around the train schedule. Additionally, while Rachele is accommodating, she does cater to a more mature, responsible guest. We were at leisure to do our own schedule however she does have particular preferences that might not suit those that plan on more a spontaneous, adventurous stay. All in all, it was a wonderful few days though admittedly in the future, I will likely be looking for something geared towards younger travellers
"Lovely stay with the beautiful rachele!!"
09/30/14 Gina W Warrington, England, United Kingdom
My boyfriend and I have just got home from a weeks stay here with the lovely rachele! We absolutely loved it. When we arrived rachele gave us a ton of information for all the things we wanted to see and do and she gave us a cup of her amazing coffee. Her b + b is in the perfect location for all the local attractions like Pompeii, sorrento, the amalfi Coast and naples. The train station is just 2 mins walk away and is very cheap and fast (1 hour to naples). Piano di sorrento is a lovely little village with a few nice restaurants and shops. It's very italian and not so touristy which we liked. Sorrento is 5 mins on the train. Racheles house is beautiful and she keeps it spotlessly clean all the time. She was kind enough to ask what we like to eat for breakfast and she got us fresh pastries from the bakery every morning. She knows all the best places to eat too :) thank you rachele for looking after us on our holiday, you are a lovely lady, we will miss you and miss you making us laugh every morning! Stammi bene! Xxx
"Amazing Stay! Amazing Woman!"
09/23/14 Ammongeon Mascouche, Canada
My husband and I went to Casa Rachele at the beginning of the month for our honeymoon and we had an amazing stay! Rachele is a wonderful woman! When we got there, she sat with us and gave us all the important information and maps we needed to visit Capri, Pompei, Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. She took care of us just like she was our Mama! She cooked a good breakfast every morning and sat with us to talk and learn more about us. The room and bathroom were very very very clean. Plus, the B&B is at only 3 minutes by walk from the train station. Again, we had a wonderful stay! Thanks again Rachele! Anne-Marie and Pierre-Luc
"Lovely stay with Lena"
08/04/14 Alycia K Adelaide, Australia
We felt really welcome and at home with Lena, she sat us down and gave us all the important information and maps and was more than happy to give us advice and have a chat. Her house was very clean and homely, you can see the main square from the bedroom window and the train station is a 5 minute walk. I highly recommend a stay with Lena!
