our visit to Istria area got much better due to our stay in Hotel Mauro. Nice restaurant, great food, great breakfast, wonderful services. Hotel interior is modern, nice size bathroom, very new & clean. Convienient location for walk around Porec and drive around Istria. Parking right in front of hotel and it is free. It is a bit hard to find first because you need to access a secured car access gate. There are hotel call button by the gate, push the button, hotel will let you in. The only thing that the aircond is not very efficient, it stays around 24 the whole time. Good thing it is not too hot when we were there, not sure about summer.

What a find! A great boutique hotel in a super fishing village with a staff that treated us like royalty. Special thanks to our host, Dom. He is a super manager and so efficient and pleasant. All the staff seemed like our friends and did a splendid job making our stay one of the best in Croatia. We will be back!

Where do I start? I stayed for just 2 days but the hotel was effortless. We never had a problem with anything while we were there. The food was too good, and way too much food for any one person. Most definately get the Half-Board option as the food was awesome. I opted for the single room and it most definately was small, more like a closet, but it was super clean and the bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in in a long time.The hotel is located walking distance from center of town and the hotels beach was very clean and professionally manicured. The only complaint that I could think of was that they need to have more staff behind the desk as the lines waiting for check-in got kind of long at times. I would definately stay here again, and have told many friends that plan on staying here also...

Ecxcellent place to stay in peroj, which is just a short drive to pula. We found we didn't miss anything staying a short distance and what we got in return was phenomenal. Beautiful, elegant hotel, with a poolside cafe, bar and restaurant that we lounged at from breakfast through dinner. Tennis court, and great places to sit, read, relax and socialize with family and new friends. Hotel staffs wonderful people, and not hard on the eyes, these croatian men are!

The hotel was fine but the resort was not. Rovinj is a beautiful resort but best avoided in high summer. Roads, beaches and restaurants were overcrowded.

Erg ontspannen en prima gerund door moeder en dochter.Eenvoudige doch comfortabele kamer met prima service(elke dag schoonmaak+schoon linnengoed) mooi balkon met als -puntje als je aan de voorkant vaan het hotel zit het s'avonds lang rumoerig is door voorbijtrekkend verkeer&jeugd.Ontbijt is goed maar weinig variatie.Gratis wifi is practisch maar op […] de 2-de verdieping niet altijd beschikbaar,maar het was geen straf om dan even beneden in de mooie voortuin te gaan zitten(tuinieren is grote hobby van moeder).Al met al een fijne bestemming. Die Vila Kristina liegt etwas außerhalb von Rovinj, ins Stadtzentrum sind es jedoch nur etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Den Badestrand erreicht man ebenfalls in ca. 10 Minuten. Auch ein Supermarkt ist in unmittelbarer Nähe (die Villa bietet Hotelzimmer und Apartments). Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend, gesprochen wird neben Kroatisch auch […] Englisch, Deutsch und Italienisch. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, hell und verfügen über einen großen Balkon und Fernseher mit Sat-Anlage. Durch den Blick auf eine große Durchfahrtsstraße (va. auch zum Campingplatz und Entertainment Center Monvi) kann es tagsüber durch den Verkehr, abends durch Passanten etwas lauter werden, jedoch nicht allzu störend. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Bei der freundlichen Betreuung, guten Bewirtung und einem fairen Preis ist die Vila Kristina daher absolut zu empfehlen - sowohl für kürzere Aufenthalte im Privatzimmer als auch für längere im Apartment!
