Been staying here for years. Great staff. Minor note - no electrical outlet at the desk - make sure you have a long enough power cord to reach the single outlet in the room (typically 5-10 feet from the desk).

Our stay was short but very pleasant. We arrived via car from Milan, and our GPS could not locate the hotel. Signage is one sided, and if you arrive from the "wrong" direction, it is easy to miss in the dark. Recommended highly -- just be sure to double check directions.

The hotel seemed to be undergoing some renovation work, which is a shame, was also a good 25 minute walk from the centre of Sorrento. However this was reflected in the price, and the room, service, cleanliness could not be faulted. Nice walk into town along the cliff side, with good views. Hotel staff were freindly and helpfull, free internet access […] and a decent breakfast. Had been backpacking around Italy on a budget, and we were very pleased our stay! Sirmione is a beautiful place and this small but charming hotel couldn’t be better placed. Although it is right in the centre of Sirmione and close to the many beautiful sights and excellent restaurants, it is in a very quiet alley so is very peaceful. We opted for a Lakeview room (up 3 flights of stairs) and were delighted. The view from the window […] of the lake and snow covered mountains across the tiled roof tops was stunning. We also had shared access to a large rooftop balcony where the views of the castle, lake and mountains were again superb. David the owner is a great character and very helpful. He recommended a couple of restaurants where we enjoyed first class food and service so take note. Sirmione gets busy during the day with many visitors from out of town but the evenings were lovely and quiet. The main square just a short walk away is where you can catch the ferry to Desenzano and other towns on Lake Garda. You can also take a bus from Sirmione to Verona. The hotel doesn’t do breakfast but don’t let that put you off as there are so many options. We walked to one of the harbour front restaurants for coffee and croissants but you could also buy them and bring them back to the rooftop balcony. The style of the hotel is artisan and the rooms are furnished accordingly and overall extremely comfortable, tasteful and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was very modern and well appointed and the air-con very effective. We could not have picked a better hotel - fantastic location and value - and recommend it highly. Read more

Per la Festa della Resistenza, 25. aprile 2013 sole splendente e caldo a Sirmione. Aloggiati nel centro antico tra le mura medioevali, i merletti del castel Scaligero, le mura della chiesa Santa Maria della Maggiore, ci siamo trovati nel bel mezzo della città antica. Non poteva andare meglio: la nostra stanza numero 10 chiamata Venere aveva tre finestre […] e tutt'e tre davano sul lago di Garda. In più appena fuori dalla nostra porta, avevamo accesso alla terrazza panoramica godendoci così un tramonto di sole stravolgente e siccome c'era anche a luna piena, vi potete immaginare... Dejligt ophold i Sirmione, som er et meget fint og smukt lille sted - men også i den dyrere ende, når vi snakker Italien! Meget hyggelig lille by med mange gode butikker og små restauranter og skønne is :-) Dejlig lille strand, hvor det var fint for både børn og voksne at bade. Hotellet lå meget centralt i byen, dog kun udsigt til vandet fra tagterrassen, […] hvor det var skønt at sidde og spise morgenmad. Mulighed for at købe kaffe, vand og croissanter til sin morgen på hotellet til små penge. Ikke noget køleskab på værelserne, så det var ikke muligt at holde sine købte drikkevarer kolde. Hotelli oli miellyttävä yllätys keskellä vanhaa Sirmionea. Ainoa hankaluus oli, että alue oli autoilta suojattu. Mutta matkatavarat sai viedä ja hakea lähtiessä autolla. Huoneet olivat erittäin siistejä ja henkilökunta ystävällistä. Ranta oli kivenheiton päässä. Suosittelen hotellia.

Las habitaciones son bastante austeras pero suficientemente cómodas y muy límpias. La situación del hotel es excelente, en pleno centro de Sirmione y a unos pasos del castillo. Lo mejor del hotel es la terraza desde la que se ve el castillo y el lago. Buena relación calidad-precio.

Friendly, nice, cosy, clean, helpsome..., I don't know which to choose, so I write them all. Our late-booking stay, 3 persons in one room, was lucky, and perfect. This is not a full service Hilton hotel, but what it does offer, it does well, very well. I really can recommend a stay here.

Der Besitzer ist Restaurator und hat es im Sinne seines Vaters bildtechnisch im Aufgang und in den Zimmern umgesetzt. Leider ist die Anfahrt zum Hotel (besonders letzten 500m)nur […] in Verbindung mit einigen Schwierigkeiten zu bewältigen. Keskeisellä paikalla, siisti ja mukava pieni perhehotelli yöpymistä varten. Välttämättömät palvelut yöpymistä varten, toki aamiainen puutui, mutta ei ongelma, koska sijaitsee lähellä kahviloita. Hinta-laatu kohdallaan.
