"Lloret del Mar-des choix multiples"
Savoy Hotel, situe tres proche de la plage de Fenals, est ideal pour une escapade en amoreux. Lloret, la ville, n est pas trop loin et des nombreux objectifs touristiques sont assez proche. L hotel est assez modern, les repas assez diversifies- un excelent PDJ et pour le dinner des repas preparees sur place. Le point faible-la connexion internet, mais ca ne te derange pas trop si tu visites les aletours. Hotel a reprendre si jamais on revient a Lloret del Mar!

"Good price, good room, not all bad."
03/26/16 Hollie66
Stayed here with my mum last May, weather was rubbish but hotel was right by the beach which was lovely! Not many shops near but the bus stops like every 10 mins right out the front which will take you to the town centre, you can walk it but it's prob a slow walk of half hour. Shops were fine but I would have liked more if I am honest. Hotel was lovely and big but the restaurant staff I did find quite rude, food was fine. The bar, well was full or Spanish and a mix of people getting drunk and dancing like idiots when we arrived. Did put me off at first but didn't harm me as we just had a drink outside before we left for the shops. Had to pay 1 euro deposit for glass if you are all inclusive. Was ok for the price but probably would not go back. But worth a visit for sure.

We stayed here for 4 nights, beds are hard ! walls are like paper can hear a pin drop in the rooms next door. Breakfast was not great. Ate toast most mornings. Rained for one day and front of hotel was leaking everywhere. Very loud disco at night and with the thin walls made it Impossible to sleep. Very cheap to stay here

We stayed here for 3 days with friends, Hotel is clean, food was terrible, and I am not picky by any means, strange combinations, pictures of animals to tell you what your eating!!!! Room was very comfortable and clean. Pool area is lovely and loads of space to lay or sit about, I liked the fact that they played music around the pool area. We arrived late and payed for AI, I sort of expected maybe a salad and bread would be set aside for us as other hotels do but no..... so we were starving. Good location and pretty busy for that time of the year.

"It's NOT Chicken"
09/27/15 Bigsnapper_UK Bedford, United Kingdom
This hotel could be soooooo much better, but poor food and service really let it down. First off its no more that 100 metres from Lloret's Fenals Beach - so great location. Second, we could not find fault with any cleanliness issue. Pool area spotless, rooms cleaned daily. Hotel itself bright, light and looks smart. But.....this hotel is really let down on several other fronts. The main one being the food. Yes you will not get food poisoning nor go hungry. There is plenty of food at breakfast (sometimes) and dinner. But what it is - well I have no idea. Just labelling each dish so we knew what we were supposed to be eating would be a start. Even more importaint in this day and age of food allergies would be to have some idea on what was in it, however what it was would be an enormous help. First night at hotel and thus first meal. We took our seats in the restaurant - which is a bit like a canteen rather than that shown on the hotel video! There you can go up and help yourself with cold meats, salads etc as starters. But over the stay you will find its pretty much the SAME each and every night - and morning. If I see another slice of cheese or slices of ham/salami or whatever it was - in the next month it will be too soon. Then its time for the main course and hot food. There was a choice of fish - I asked the server what kind of fish and was told "It's not chicken". OK So I passed. Then there was what was probably roast pork slices. But when eaten it was maybe Bernard Matthews Turkey roll sliced up...maybe, maybe not. On the next station there were the ubiquitous chips, a tray of stew or casserole of some meat. Lamb chops which were more chop than lamb and then some mashed potato and salads. Next night and the following nights it was pretty much the same. Guess the meat, guess the fish and hope that the display had been filled from the kitchen recently as they had NO HOT PLATES to keep the food ...er...Hot. So evening meals were plenty of lukewarm food of some kind. Plus desserts which were ALWAYS some colourful gateux, creme caramel, a strawberry mousse and peach mousse and fresh fruit. EVERY NIGHT I would have killed for an apple pie Breakfast was similar. First morning yes we had the usual assortment of continental breakfast plus hot (sorry warm or lukewarm or less) plates of some kind of bacon type stuff which tastes fine first day but day after day after day. It was not the same taste of bacon nor the same consistency. There were 3 types of sausages, cold/lukewarm hot dog type, plus what looked like uncooked white sausage and also a red sausage. I think they were cooked, but not grilled or fried, just boiled so looked uncooked. Then there were the eggs. We had fried eggs one day - great, runny yokes, no compaints. ONE DAY...every other day it was hard boiled eggs in their shells or cold/lukewarm scrambled eggs. So to sum up - like I said - You won't go hungry, but HOT food should be HOT and some idea as to what it actually was would be great. A meat stew or some boiled fish EVERY NIGHT, which was often lukewarm as brought out in trays from the kitchen and left to its own devices. I'm sure Prison Food is better. And the surprising thing was that the hotel caters for a lot of Russian, Polish, Spanish, Dutch as well as a sprinkling of Brits. Surely THEY expect better and demand better Enough of food - lets go for Entertainment. There is none. Unless you call some young lad playing tunes from his laptop each night in the lounge where the 'bar' is. Its not a proper bar as this hotel is largely 'all inclusive'. We were half board so I cannot comment, but apparently you had to 'buy' your glass and keep it during your stay and each time you presented it at the bar (often with no staff there serving as it was in the lounge leading to the pool). And seemingly no snack were provided unlike other All Inc deals. Service - well pretty much if you want to find anything out ask one of the other tourists as reception is pretty useless. I asked what would be a pretty standard question on first night - "How much would a taxi into Lloret be please". We were by Fenals beach and Lloret is a 10 min bus ride away - but buses finish at 9-30. So I wanted some idea just so I knew I was not being ripped off. So basic question really - answer "20 Euros, 10 maybe. I don't know". Well its about 7e actually and the bus is 1.35 e each way and runs every 20 mins. There you go I've done your job for you. Wi Fi is free for guests in the downstairs public areas - but is slow and inconsistent and not worth paying 20euros for to have it for the week and access in your room. And like I said dont bother asking Reception if you are having problems with it. She shakes her head and says she does not know. The outside terrace for smokers is by the pool and with russians and spanish puffing away all day on the sunbed or table next to you - well just get used it it. Didnt help my cough none. The pool area is nice, comfortable sun beds no problem securing a place with a towel - if early enough. Pool is seawater pool and a bit mall but does the job and on a sunny day the pool area is a great place to chillax I think I've covered most things - Good - the general cleanliness and appearance of the hotel. The pool and the surrounding areas. The location close to the beach The bad - Food, Food and the food, plus non existence service and entertainment A 3 star hotel that is a good base, but All Inc not good value esp when you can eat at a restaurant bar across the road cheaply and for 2 nights we headed into Lloret and had amazing steaks at an argentinian steakhouse plus starter and win for £40 - and after a few days of hotel food my taste buds really thanked me.

"What is wrong with Spanish hotel offer?!?"
09/10/15 Nattabanda Copenhagen, Denmark
I have just returned from my family vacation at Kosta Brava (Lloret de Mar). We stayed 10 days at Savoy Hotel very near Fenals beach. Unfortunately, I do not have any words of praise for this hotel. Where do I start from: - Personnel was very rude and were not speaking English (apart from Manager). So, it was very difficult for us to talk to them about our problems (such as: very noisy neighbors, really bad food, problems with pluming, etc.) - The room itself had very bad sound proof isolations. We thought that walls were made of paper. We were awake at dawn every day since our neighbors were going very early to the toilet. So, when they flush….the whole floor is awake thinking it is an earthquake. Rooms are extremely small – we had to rearrange the furniture to be able to get in/out of bed and move around. - The food was really awful. And, since we had all inclusive service you can imagine how disappointed we were. There was no variety neither for breakfast nor lunch or dinner. The menu was the same and mainly consisted of frozen food being warmed up. And, the worst thing was that they could not keep it warm for long so if you are not the first one in a row for food, you will probably decline on the meal. - The hotel was very crowded with not enough space in restaurant and not enough personnel to serve drinks/clean tables so regular meal times became a nightmare. The meal breaks (between breakfast and lunch and between lunch and dinner) were a bit less crowded so we could have a decent approach to food (leftovers from previous meals – cold and usually already tasteless) - The pool was really small and since we were hit by windy weather and very cold sea (in August) we were forced to go to the pool . Unfortunately, the small pool could not accommodate all of us On the other hand (and hence they got ‘bad’ but not ‘very bad’ mark), they did their best to keep the rooms clean. I guess I was lucky since our room maid was very pleasant one and did try to accommodate any request we had. My sister was not that lucky and got clean towels only every 3rd day if the maid was in a ‘good mood’. The only good thing about this hotel is its position – it is very close to Fenals beach and far away from noisy city center. I guess this is a plus if you are coming with family. After this and few more bad experiences in Spain, I guess am done going there for summer vacation.

We was looking for a family holiday,we thought it looked lovely on the website..then we arrived at the savoy hotel, everything looked okay clean ect..until the next morning,The food was awful I wouldn't even serve it to my dog, stone cold, flys everywhere,it was like prison food!! Staff was so rude!! you only have one cup to use for the whole time ur staying in this hotel and you had to pay one euro for this plastic cup.The entertainment was the same everyday..very boring, although the guy was very nice/could have a laugh he was the only polite staff there. The rooms was terrible we moved rooms 3 times, the air conditioning wires was hanging out the wall..disgusting! every balcony i could see had pigeon poo everywhere,You could never get a sunbed as people left there towels there all day while they was at the beach, the staff should take them off after a certain amount of time. The whole place was terrible the pool was awful always dirty! We was the only english people there. All I can say about this holiday is,i would never go there again and i would never recommend anybody to go there ever in there life, because i wouldn't even send my dog there..but it seemed some people had there dogs staying in this hotel and sitting with them at the pool barking all day!!

"3 Star Hotel"

Just back from there hotel is what it says on the tin a 3 star hotel don't think you will get any more, or in that matter less. It is close to the beach just down a short hill Lloret is 20 minutes walk up a really steep hill and down another really steep hill or you can get on the bus from outside the Hotel that runs every 20 minutes for a cost of 1euro 35 there is no free wifi for a week it costs 20 euros from reception, but you do get good reception even in your room, Only one TV channel in English bbc world news we were on the 5th floor and found that the balcony railing looked like they need attention the hotel has replaced the railings from the 1st to the 3rd floor but the rest have not been touched . The food as others have said is not the best but we did find something to eat We were all inclusive and the drink was again not the best but okay (no cocktails) for those looking for them at night there was not much as far as entertainment went and we found that only maybe 12 people at night were down stairs at the bar not a lot of English speaking people at the hotel but saying all that we had a great time. Would we go back to this hotel again? probably not but it is okay and in most part quiet good location for the bus and beach staff were all friendly

Hotel was very clean. Food was just ok and for what we paid, can't really grumble. Location just a couple of minutes walk to the beach was just perfect. Night time was the worst I and my friends thought. At night, the hotel had bright lights everywhere apart from the dance floor, horrendous and not very cosy. Would have been nicer had they been dimmed a little. Nothing at night outside the hotel of an evening. A couple of bars and unfortunately no promenade to walk along. You would need to get into lloret but that would be mainly for the young. The children's entertainer was very good and our fav bar person, she was very nice but the other, a man was not friendly at all. We also found that the balcony was rather on the small side.

"Great 3 star hotel! "
07/17/15 Sherree_77 Amsterdam
Just got back today for 6 nights with a friend. Can't fault this hotel. We booked a last minute all inclusive deal and I felt it was worth what I paid. Rooms were cleaned everyday with new towels and bed made. The food was great. I do not know why some people complain because they had a good variety everyday and try to change it up. There's always fresh fruit (sliced melons, watermelon, pineapple, oranges and a bowl of peaches/plums) everyday. During lunch and dinner fish and meat is cooked in front of you so it's always hot. Breakfast is not always hot but warm enough to enjoy. I was skeptical at first reading reviews about the food as I'm a picky person but this is a 3 star hotel. In my opinion, I think it's better than some 4 star hotels. Kevin the animacion guy is amazing! Took us out and great with everyone. A real cheeky chap. Brilliant dancer too! Sun beds are usually full but if you come early you'll manage to get one. Limited staff but all friendly and does their job well. Keep up the good work! Will definitely come back if I visit Costa brava as close to beach and town with night life. Also this is a family hotel so you don't get noisy teenagers partying in the middle of the night in the hotel.
