we had a good times in this hotel, very clean, and the staff very nice.Genuine Expedia guest review
Veronica was very welcoming, as I am a celiac she had especially bought in plenty of gluton free food for me. Both myself and sister-in-law were made to feel very welcome, there was a good variety of food for breakfast each day. Cereal, eggs, toast, buns, croissantes, rolls, biscuits, fruit, cheese, fruit juice, tea, coffee. The rooms were spotlessly […] clean comfortable beds, fresh bedding and towels throughout the week. Gerry the manager was very helpful and accommaditing, on our last day we were given a seperate key so we were able to leave our luggage at the guest house all day until our taxi to take us to the airport at teatime. Gerry helped with getting our luggage down and stayed with us until the taxi came. The guest house is in a very nice area of Rome 5 minutes walk from the vatican it was not noisy at night. I would highly reccomend staying at Sweet Dreams to anyone visiting Rome. I would most certainly stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Koselig sentral beliggende leilighet"
"Sweet Dreams B&B"
09/17/14 Marianne M Rome
This was a perfectly placed B&B although hard to find initially as there is no indication on the street. With just three rooms we were well catered for with breakfast provided by staff and the option to use the kitchen facilities at any time. Decor was tasteful with much neede air conditioning. One room though had a noisy system which inhibitied sleeping, although a fan had been provided. We would recommend the property giving the aforementioned information. Perfect for a week and within easy walking distance of all attractions. The bus from the Leonardo Da Vinci airport stopped within a 10 minute walk and took us back.
"Not Rome's Best"

A very difficult place to find with no instructions to find the exact location. A beautiful old apartment building converted into a b&b. The lovely old rooms have been chopped and given false walls to give maximum profit. The room we had was stuffed with a double and single bed, the double up against the wall. Loud traffic and noisy people all night. Keeping the windows shut is a must. The walls were so thin I could hear the man next door snoring loudly all night. Breakfast was poor pre packed everything. The location was wonderful, had this been let as an old Roman apartment tastefully furnished it would have been wonderful.
"A Poor B&B"

Difficult to find. Few directions given by owner and we were received by a very nice man who spoke little English. We arrived at the destination which is a four cornered six storied apartment block and given no help with finding the apartment (B&B) We were given a room with a toilet and bathroom across the corridor. We requested air conditioning which we did not get until the following day, also requested two more pillows which never materialised. We moved room the following day although the noise from the traffic was still audible. Breakfast was uninspiring and mostly out of packets. Coffee was good though. We only took breakfast on one of our three nights stay. In all a poor Guest house even though location is very good.
"Never got to stay there"

Good luck to you!,my other half booked us in there got met by a man who obviously wasn't expecting us,then mumbled that no water, grabbed our bags and off we went to other bed and breakfast around the corner,up five flights of stairs to another flat!, no breakfast included,no contact with the lovely sweetdreams man again, and no hot water, although booked and paid for, lucky that we were out all the time, and thank god for travel kettle,so looking in to this,as it would be awful for others, especially for families,so much for sweetdreams, started as a nightmare!

An amazing location near the Vatican. The appartment is located in a beautiful lane with many boutique shops and cosy cafes. Delicious patisserie ans a famous gastronomic shop in the area. Small size room and very small bathroom but it's ok. The fridge is a good advantage. A big square patio with orange trees. A friendly staff.

We stayed at this B&B for one night. This pretty much an apartment split into private rooms, we didn't know that prior to our arrival so when we finally found the place we were a little concerned and skeptical, but it ended up being a very good experience. Place is about 20 min walking to Vatican museum. We had a room with a private bathroom just outside our room. There was a very nice guy that was there to greet us at our arrival, he was also in the morning to make us coffee, continental breakfast and collect the key.
"Very nice stay!"

we stayed four nights last week and we really had a great time. SweetDreams is wonderful. The position is absolutely the best, very close to the Vatican and the metro. Our room was spacious, very well decorated with a nice bathroom, a comfortable bed and double gazed window. Jerry and Veronica were friendly and helpful. Would definetly stay here again!

We arrived very late, almost midnight. It was rainιng cats and dogs... Veronica sent me a message to ask where we were and she was waitting for us to help us through. Very friendly and helpful, as well as Germie the other employer at Sweet Dreams! The room was large, decorated with taste. Very clean and smelled "fresh clean room".The bathroom was private. It wasn't in the room, just across of it, but it was not a problem for us. Very large and clean too. Very quiet night and day, even if it's next to the Vatican. The breakfast was nice and tasty, it felt like I was at home in my kitchen. Eating and drinking our coffee in peace and quiet, with nice chat with Germie. :-) Location is great, next to the Vatican and very close to Castel sant'Angelo. Also, very close to Ottaviano metro station, which 6 stops from Termini train station. You won't find anything open to grab a bite if you arrive at 11:30 at night, so be prepared. The Sweet Dreams in general, was very cozy as I said to Veronica as soon as we got there...after a tiring trip, this was the welcome in Rome we needed!!!
"Sweet Dreams, Rome."

Sweet Dreams was very nice to stay in, lovely breakfast the next morning. Secure with an internal courtyard, and the location is very close to Vatican City. We would recommend it if you are going to Rome.
"Comfortable and quiet in convenient location"
10/28/13 Sam H Bolney, United Kingdom
Before we arrived we corresponded with the owner via email who was very responsive. The B&B is easy to find and is only a 5 minute walk from the Ottaviano Metro station and is very close to the Vatican. Its entrance is on a busy road but it lies on the quiet side of the building. The windows have excellent sound proofing and the room was very quiet with the window closed. We went in October so we did not need the air conditioning so I can't comment on that. The bed was very comfortable and we looked forward to sleeping in it after a busy day walking around the city. The only downside to our room (and I can see others have commented about this) is the loud pump that's attached to the plumbing in the en suite bathroom. It was activated whenever the toilet was flushed or if water was running (including the shower). It didn't really bother us and our room was on the opposite side of the B&B from the other rooms so I'm not sure how loud it was for them. It was a bit unusual but it didn't concern us too much. There was a good size TV in the room (all Italian channels but...you're in Italy...) and a full kitchen which is available to use. There was a very nice and friendly man who takes great care of the guests and the rooms during the day but after 6 o'clock you are alone. Again, not a concern for us. We only ate breakfast once as we were keen to get out before the crowds but there was a decent selection available. It's a nice part of town, lots of restaurants, eateries, etc. nearby. We had a great and very comfortable stay.
