A great and friendly place to stay when you are in Rome. 10 minutes on foot from Colloceum. Mrs Agapi (the housekeeper) is a very friendly and helpful person. She gave us tips on how to get to different places. She even offered to call a taxi for us. Regarding the service, excellent. Breakfast in the room at the time we requested and clean room every day. Great hospitality!! And all in low price.

We stated at Trinity for three nights in June 2013. While the neighbourhood isn't exactly great, the location is pretty convenient with both the metro station and the colosseum being walking distance. The rooms are spacious and are equipped with all the basic amenities required. Being a bread & breakfast, there is no reception as such, but the owner Agapi is extremely helpful and responsive.

"Everything was okay"

Everything was okay in this b&b. Upon arrival we got a room upgrade from the budget room to a room with our own bathroom. We liked that very much. The breakfast was simple, but was offered always at the requested time. Location is good, close to the metro and just a 10-15min walk from the colloseum. We also appreciated the clean towels and bed linen every day.

"Do not book the budget double."
06/18/15 Stefanie K
This Bnb seems OK and the hostess was lovely, but do not book the budget double room for two people. The bed is slightly bigger than a single and the room is tiny - not big enough for two people and two bags. The room also does not have air conditioning (which it advertised when we booked it). This information is now available on their website but when we booked back in February it was advertised as having air-conditioning and it did not mention the small bed. I understand that Rome is expensive and accommodation is basic but this room and (external shared) bathroom were not clean and the breakfast is average. Would not recommend.

"Good budget b&b"

My daughter and myself stayed here for two nights. The b&b is very basic but clean, the room was large with four beds, also air con which was needed. Hot water in the shower was a bit hit and miss. The breakfast was ok enough to put you on until lunch. This b&b is well placed for visiting Rome.

"Very clean."

On arrival at the b&b my mum and myself we greeted by agapi who was very very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room is very basic but that is all you need on a sight seeing trip. The room was also exceptionally clean. Breakfast was a choice of tea or coffee, a warm croissant and French toast with butter and jam. Enough to put you on til lunch. We received a card from agapi for 10% off from the restaurant across the street called romantica. This restaurant however seemed to be expensive to say it wasn't in the middle of the city. We had a lovely dinner cheaper in the center. The b&b is about a 10min walk from the termini in the opposite direction of all the places of interest however I would stay at this b&b again.

"They cancelled the booking few hours before our arrival"

I booked 4 nights in trinity via budgetplaces.com 3 days before our arrival. The deposit was taken from my card and i recieved the confirmation email. On the day of our arrival(1pm!!!) i recieved an email from budgetplaces : "I am very sorry to inform you that unfortunately the establishment you selected was unable to confirm your reservation for the following reason: Availability " What a joke..they cancel the booking few hours before arrival.Do not trust in this B&B as you can see they are not serious at all.

"Affordable, well located, quiet and no hassles"

Rome is expensive (and fabulous!) so if you're on a tight budget it makes sense to save on accommodation. We found Trinity B&B ideal, with its very reasonable price of £62 per night. It is a short walk to Manzoni Metro station on Line A, and is conveniently located halfway between the Coliseum and the main railway station. The room was warm, clean, quiet; the beds comfortable; everything we needed (Wi-Fi, duvets, iron & ironing board, spacious wardrobe) was provided. Staff are discreet and helpful, and contacted us before arrival to give us directions from the airport to the hotel. It's not luxurious, but if you're looking for a great bargain I would highly recommend it!

"Cheap basic accommodation in the centre of Rome"
05/16/14 dapper80 Bury, United Kingdom
We booked this based on the reviews and because it was pretty cheap (for Rome). The room was an OK size, with a TV, fridge and large walk in wardrobe - which could be converted into a small bathroom. Our bathroom was private, but down the hall - which was a pain, but was a decent size and clean. Our first impressions of the room - dingy and basic. We couldn't open the shutters fully due to the scaffolding behind it and the white lace curtain was overdue a wash. The room was tidied daily but we seemed to have a problem with ants. Workmen were banging away by 8.30am - which was not a problem on the days we were out early. The staff were friendly although they were not around that much. It would have been nice if they had explained there were workmen during the day, or give us a reduced rate for the room - or just acknowledgement of it. I asked for an Italian restaurant recommendation, and she suggested one across the street, where you can get a 10% discount - yet this was not my question! :) As mentioned before, they bring a hot drink, croissant and some crisp bread to your room at the time you want (8.00 - 10.30). Overall - this is good if you want a cheap, basic room close to the Colosseum and Metro station. It's no frills, so maybe not for a romantic getaway.

"great budget hotel"

the room was basic but for the price paid I had no issues at all. the location is convenient only 15 min walk from termini and 12 mins from the Colosseum. on arrival the manager was friendly and helpful. the room i stayed in did not have a bathroom within but had its own private bathroom off the hall which was very clean and modern. the room included a fridge, tv and kettle and the bed was comfortable so was perfect for a break where you wouldn't spend too much time in your hotel and want a cheaper option. My only gripe would be that there was a mild smell of cigarettes as you walk in but this was not strong and I would definitely stay there again

"Well priced accommodation"

Ideal B&B in reasonable location. Very well priced. Two minutes walk from Metro. 10 minutes walk from Colosseum. Staff friendly. Brilliant orange juice and coffee. We found our room very warm, and there was a strong smell of smoke. We would return.

"Quick trip"

Booked hotel on a whim while at the airport, about to leave for Rome. Didn't have a chance to read much about the bed and breakfast or reviews. It was easy to get to, reasonably priced, friendly staff... No one bothered you. They let us stay an extra night at the same rate originally booked on orbitz the night before since we planned on staying a bit extra. Walking distance to termini station and even coliseum! Only negative was lack of hot water and breakfast was minimal. Would stay again!
