"Where you want to be with a little walk"
The hotel was great, but had a small shower. Breakfast and the service was top notch, but the location was up a little hill and can be a drag after walking all day. The nice thing was its close to the colosseum and we could do late night walks with ease. There are two little venders for snacks drinks (liter sizes available) and a bank that was convenient. Really enjoyed the stay, room was great, breakfast was great, view from the patio, priceless. Really close to the Colosseum..short downhill walk, short ride back on the 117 bus from the Colosseum. Elevator up was also a plus. I would definitely stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
bene , buoni i collegamenti con resto citta'Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great place to stay for a good price"

Stayed here for a quick two night stay in Rome, the location is great and room was nice and clean. Breakfast was adequate, served either in you room or on the roof terrace. The only negative point would be that you don't get a chance to have a lie-in in the mornings, the room is not sound insulated at all and is very noisy from 07.30. Overall a great reasonable priced B and B to explore Rome.
"Flavius Bed and Breakfast"

I recently stayed at Flavius with my girlfriend for 3 nights. The best parts about this accomodation are: Location - At check-in, you're given your own set of keys (one for the main door to the flats, one for the main entrance into Flavius and another for your room) and you then have the freedom to come and go as you please. When you step out of Flavius, and onto the street, take a look to your left and you'll see the Colosseum. That's your central point, and you'll never be lost if you can find the Colosseum (pretty hard to miss!!). Cleanliness - There is absolutely nothing unhygienic about the rooms or Flavius at all, and your room is cleaned daily. It's always a relief when you arrive somewhere and it's nice and clean. Some things that I thought worth considering: Bathroom - Very clean, before anyone gets the wrong impression but not all the rooms have their own bathroom and staying in a different country with other guests, having your own bathroom space and time is important IMO.

"Nice B&B in a great location"

My girlfriend and I stayed here from the 24th till the 26th of may 2014. The B&B is located on the top floor of a large building at 5 minutes walking distance from the colloseum. When you arrive here the first time : the doorbell is located on the top right at the entrance. The welcome was very warm, and the owner& his mother helpful and friendly. The room was simple and clean, as was the bathroom. There was a small problem with the shower the first night, but a reset of the water heather fixed the problem immediately. When sunny, the breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace, with a nice view over the city. Breakfast consists of 2 slices of toasted bread, jam, yoghurt, juice, a sweet croissant and marvellous cappucino! The loaction is great : very close to the colloseum and there are a few restaurants in the street that offer good food at reasonable prices. There are 2 metro stations within walking distance. The only reason why I don't rate it 5 stars is because there was a slight smell after using the bathroom, due to old plumbing I guess. Opening the window 5 minutes fixed the problem.
"Lovely B&B in an excellent location"

We really enjoyed our stay in B&B Flavius. The rooms are rather small (especially the bathroom), but very clean. The owners took good care of us, and prepared us a nice breakfast each morning. The breakfast was rather basic for us (1 croissant, 2 pieces of toast and a yoghurt per person), but very lavish considering traditional Italian breakfasts (just 1 croissant). The location was ideal for us: close to the university on the one hand, close to tourist-must-sees (Colosseum, Forum Romanum,...) on the other. There are also several nice (and not too expensive) restaurants in the immediate neighbourhood.
"Charming B&B with great service and location!"

My husband and I traveled to B&B Flavius actually 2 years ago in June 2012, but I have been planning a new trip to Europe and remembered how much I loved this place, so I needed to review it! First of all, the location was great. We found it just fine and loved how close it is to a bus stop. It is so close to the Colosseum and there was a market just down the street where we bought some wine and snacks. Close to restaurants where we watched some soccer. The room itself was small, but we didn't need something big, as we were more concerned with location and exploring the city. The service was fabulous. We had a small but fine breakfast made for us, and were given a map with suggestions of where to eat and how to get around. We shared a bathroom, but we never saw the other guests, and it was quite large, so it worked out well for us. Definitely would recommend!
"Cute little Roman-style B&B"
03/31/14 Dasha R Bratislava, Slovakia
B&B in old historical building in the centre of Rome, just 10 minutes away from Colosseum by walking down the road. Our room was quite small and basic, but clean and nice. Bathroom was also clean, but the smell going out from there was not very pleasant (actually this was the only disadvantage of this B&B). Otherwise it's good value for money. Breakfast are included, and consists of delicious home made cappuccino (or other type of coffee/tea), and warm croissant and bread with jam and yoghurt. Staff was friendly, free maps in different languages available at the reception.
"flavius BnB - good choice"
01/17/14 christianyvr vancouver
Choosing a BnB was a bit of a challenge for me as I have never experience this kind of accommodation arrangement before. The place is really classic Roman type with huge key to enter the main door of Flavius with 4 door bolts to lock. My room is exactly the same one on the picture they advertise. The 2 brothers especially Giordano who spoke to me over the phone only was very helpful on how to phone a taxi on my way to Termini station. Their mother, Mama Anna who speak no English was genuinely service-oriented as she always wear a smile. Capuccino was made fresh by both mother and son. The only negative was the odor coming from the bathroom drainage system. Room is spacious and at least there is one english news channel to watch.

This B&B in Rome is very basic, but clean and very friendly staff. After traveling for 22 hours from Australia we settled into our room on 3rd floor of a very old building, but everything is old in Rome, to get a good nights sleep before we explored Rome. In the morning we came out for breakfast which was served on a small terrace and served by the owners mother who had very little English but made us very welcome she made fresh coffee and tea. As you sit having breakfast you look down the street and the Colosseum is at the end of the street. What a way to start the day. The internet is free and good connection in our room. We stayed 2 nights when we were leaving the lady ordered us a taxi to go to the train station and helped us down stairs with our bags saying rapido rapido the taxi was their within 2 minutes of calling. She gave us hugs and kisses and wished us well. A great start to our trip to Italy. The only negative thing about the room the shower in the bathroom is so small and hard to get into a large person would have trouble.

My daughter and I made this our first stop on our trip to Italy. We were completely satisfied with this cute little b&b. It is in a charming old building just up the road from the Colloseum and well located to other sites and good cafes. The place was clean, staff was helpful and breakfast was perfect.
