The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included buffet breakfast consisted of eggs, cold meat, cereal and fresh baked croissants. This hotel is great value! It is a 10 minute walk from the Mestre bus/train station, next door to a supermarket and close to kebab/pizza restaurants and some pubs. It is very easy to get into central Venice. There is a bus right across the street that comes every 10 mins and takes about 12 mins to get to the main bus station in Venice. It costs a little over a euro one way and you can get the ticket at the reception (along with vaporetta tickets). Keep in mind though that st.mark's square is about a 35 min walk from Piazalle Roma ( the bus station). Unless you want to lug your bags through the narrow, busy streets and (many) staircases of Venice and pay a fortune for a dump, I would recommend staying in the Mestre area and this hotel was great value for the money.

We stayed 1 night only and were very happy with the hotel. Dont forget to get you key from Hotel Luca as the Casa Dolce has no reception. The feeling of the hotel is as you were resident of Venice. We highly recommend it.

"Very convenient for all the sights"
Very difficult to find, infact someone saw us lookng at a map and offered to take us there for 2 euros. The best 2 euros we spent! A nice little place, had a room overlooking a canal so had gondolas going past at all hours hence it was very noisy, but added to the charm. The room was very basic & if I had a complaint it would be I don't call it an en […] suite room if you have to walk right down the corridor to use the bathroom. "A very nice budget hotel"
I booked a single room but was given a double room in the first two nights. I need to change to a single room on the third night. Both rooms are very clean and comfortable. Considering its low price and good location, this hotel is a very good choice for tourists who want en-suite facilities and good access to shops, restaurants and waterbus stations. […] The owner was extremely helpful and kind to me. My friends who booked a 3 star hotel think that my room is more spacious with proper furnitures. However, there are no TV or wifi in the room. "Alloggia Alla Scala Tæt på Centrum i Venedig"
Fint lille hotel. Værelset var meget lille og der er meget lydt indtil naboerne. Eller alt fint og godt. Blev opkrævet for beløbet for 2 dage, som jeg mener jeg betalte hjemmefra. Håber ikke der er betalt 2 gange !!! for de 2 første dage.
