Hotel was beautiful. Room was small but nicely appointed. Breakfast room was like eating at a palace!! Staff was helpful and it is in a busy touristy area of town which was great for us. Hope to return soon!

it is a great hotel in a shabby neighbourhood. Overall impressions are very good. A few suggestions: install a magnifying mirror in the bathroom for good shaving; explain what a complex apparatus on the wall does (many switches).

Hotel is only a few minutes walk from the train station, very convenient to many sights in Palermo. Front desk staff was very nice. Room was cleaned very well each day. Would highly recommend as a great value hotel.

Casarossa zijn geen kamers maar kleine appartementjes. Later bleek er ook een zwembad bij te horen maar dat was ons niet verteld. Beetje spartaans. Wel schoon maar met weinig aandacht ingericht. Wij waren verrast dat we voor het ontbijt extra moesten betalen. Dat hebben we dan ook niet gedaan. Om naar het stadje Monreale te lopen (20 min.!) moet je […] langs een drukke autoweg deels zonder trottoir. Met de Italiaanse bestuurders niet echt veilig. We zijn er twee nachten geweest en dat was voldoende. Op zich een goede uitvalsbasis als je de drukte van Palermo zou willen ontlopen. Read more
