"Nice little hotel in great location"
We were happy with this hotel; the location was ideal, included breakfast was nice, and service was good (especially Michelle at the front desk). It's not a luxurious hotel, though - beds were rather firm, furniture was basic, no carpeting. Had a "family room" for 4, but our kids shared a double bed rather than getting separate singles. One warning: […] If you stay in the summer, be aware there's no air conditioning, just one fan, and too many bugs to be able to leave a window open overnight! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel, but better if it's not summer."
I read the trip advisor reports about this hotel, but I rolled the dice anyway and lost. Every warning is true, there are five floors and no elevator and there is no air conditioning. We ended up on the fourth floor, but I want to say the stairs didn't bother us or carrying the luggage. We traveled with our two kids, 9 and 11 years old. The quadruple […] room was comfortable with lots of space. The bathroom was really nice. The staff were helpful and sweet and we liked them a lot. Now for the only negative. It was over ninety degrees, and where all the heat rises in a room near the top. They provided a fan but that was no relief. I liked the hotel, liked the room, liked the price, but its not worth it to be up all night in the heat with only two tiny windows. I would return, but never in the summer or during a heat wave. Oh, and one last thing, it was difficult to find. You cannot drive right up to it and the numbers in the plaza are out of sequence! It is over a restaurant of the same name.
"Excellent staff and best location in"
Excellent hotel, clean, great value, great breakfast and nice staffGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I had booked a room here and arrived in the early evening hours. The concierge informed me that my room was unfortunately waterlogged and I could not stay there. They arranged for me to have an upgraded room in their sister hotel, only ten minutes away, called a black car to drive me there, and provided refreshments on the house for the inconvenience. I stayed here a few years back with excellent service as well. The hotel is within walking range of most of the major attractions in Prague. It's right off the Charles Bridge and is in a safe area. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Prague.

We cannot say enough about this hotel. The service we had especially from Michaela was excellent. We stayed for 3 nights and we were a little uncomfortable climbing a lot of steps to the top floor room. We asked if we could move to a lower floor and she had a room #2 and it was fantastic!!!! We had views of the Charles Bridge from one window and the park from the others. We asked for a fan and she got one from their other hotel!!! We didn't have the right conversion plug and again she took care of us!!! She spoke great English and gave us suggestions for dinner and also not to mention the fact that it was my guys' birthday and they left a bottle of wine in the room for him. WOW!!! Breakfast was great every morning and we also had dinner one night there which was wonderful!!! Just make sure when you make your reservation to ask for a room on a lower floor. There is not a kettle in the room but that was not a concern for us.

Just stayed in this small (ten room) hotel in the centre of Prague. It is in a lovely quiet street but just yards from Charles Bridge and therefore ideally situated for the centre of Prague. We had a pleasant spacious room but it was on the third floor so a bit of a challenge for the less fit, as there is no lift. One of the beds was very hard. Limited facilities as might be expected but an adequate breakfast. A very pleasant stay. It is the location which is really the big advantage.
"10% Service charge????"

This is my first post on trip advisor and I am sad that it is a bad comment. The food has no problem. When i asked for my bill it came at 460 koruna. I paid with a 1000 koruna note. But I was shockee when my change was returned... the waitress hand written an additional 46 koruna on my bill... and told me that it was service charge. My question is: 1) why was is handwritten and not printed? 2) why was it was not on the bill when it was initially given to me? Waitress just kept repeating "service charge". I stayed in prague for 3 days n had never paid for service charge at any restaurants. This is obviously a tourist trap. 46 koruna is little money.. but the tactic by this restaurant is very disappointing in the 3 marvelous days I had in prague. Jason From Singapore
"Very nice hotel in Quiet Area"

We loved our stay here! We got a large room on the second floor. It was almost like a suite as there were two rooms: a small room with twin bed and dining table and larger room with king bed and two arm chairs. We had a nice view of the Charles Bridge. The room was very clean and decorated with an old-world feel. While I'm partial to modern decor, the old-world feel seemed appropriate. The bathroom was quite large as well, and the shower had great water pressure. The hotel is located on the quiet side of the bridge, an easy 10 min walk to the touristy part of town. I liked being on the quiet side of town because it seemed more relaxing and private. The staff was very helpful and approachable. The day guy spent 10 minutes showing me the map on the wall and explaining interesting walking routes! Very nice of him!! We walked up to the castle on his recommendation. He said it was an easy 15 min walk, but it took us like 25 mins because it was a steep walk! ha! But we def enjoyed the sites along the way. The breakfast was great! I filled up on fruit and pastries, while the server was making our coffees. As she delivered them, she asked if we wanted eggs. I wish I had waited b/c my husband got them and they were so good! Perfectly cooked scrambled eggs with some sliced veggies on the side. We left early on the second day and they left us to-go breakfast in our room the night before!! What an amazingly nice touch!! We each got a bottle of water, two sandwiches, a snickers bar and a piece of fruit. This was seriously going above and beyond in my opinion!! We were so thrilled to have a convenient meal to eat on the train that morning! I hope I am lucky enough to return to Prague and stay here again in the future!!
"A pleasant stay great location"

Location is perfect, breakfast was simple but adequate and nice. Room was spacious and clean and neat. Checkin was no problems - entrance to the hotel is in the middle door where the eating tables are located. We would definitely recommend this hotel - we kept the windows open as there was no ac or fan and it was a little noisy at night but all in all a very nice small quiet hotel.

Just a few steps away from the Charles Bridge, this lovely restaurant had a good value fixed price lunch of potato soup and omelette for 160 Czech Crowns (just over £5). The waiter was a bit forgetful but quickly recovered himself and we had a pleasant time here. It's worth going again if the prices remain this good.
"We loved it! We will advise everybody to go there!"

Perfect location, at 20 meters from Charles Bridge, nearby the park and the river. Our room was very luminous and quite big, clean and complete of everything. Restaurants everywhere in the neighborhood. For those who care: wi-fi connection is not that good in the rooms.
