Valóban tágas, kényelmes szoba szolgálta a kikapcsolódásunkat. A szállás megközelítése, megtalálása kissé körülményes!

The room is rather large, with double bed, coffee table and sofa. The bathroom is convenient with shower and hairdryer. There is a little kitchenette and a seating place in the garden.
The hosts are a lovely Italian family, of which we met the owner, her mother, her brother and his wife. They did their best to ensure our pleasant stay.
We faced challenged mobile coverage and running water pressure. The WiFi was not received in the entire room area.
Notice that in order for G***e maps to guide you, you should enter the address, not the location name.
We just got back from an AMAZING time here! Stefania and her mother are SO lovely, helping you with whatever you may need during your stay. The location is ideal, ignore the comments on distance. If you have no walking issues and no young children the walk is around 15 minutes to the station. Yes you do have to climb some stairs (shock!), but if you have a decent level of fitness I don't see any major issue with this. However you may be carrying large amounts of baggage, if this is the case (or if you just can't be bothered to walk) there is a taxi service for one euro per person. Thank you Stefania and family for an AMAZING stay in Meta. We hope to return ASAP!
A friend and I stayed at Casa Stefania for 3 nights recently, and it was one of the best experiences we've ever had.
The hostel has beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and coastline (tip - climb to the 3rd floor for a beautiful view of Sorrento!), and is a 10 minute walk from the nearby train station that serves the entire area between Naples and Sorrento. Stefania and her family were so welcoming, and Stefania even bought us breakfast from the bakery just across the road on the first day after we forgot to ask for breakfast with our booking. Stefania's mother made us cake and cappuccinos for breakfast too, and we really did feel like members of the family! The 10 minute walk to the station is not a hardship at all, it goes through some beautiful Italian streets and the center of Meta, where there are supermarkets, flower shops and lovely local restaurants. If you're not up for the 10 minute walk, you can call the local Shuttle driver (Pietro), and he'll take you to the station for just 1 euro. Stefania gave us some great recommendations of which beaches to go to, restaurants to eat at, and she is happy to get into contact with anyone in the area (if your Italian isn't up to scratch) - she helped us book a ticket for a beautiful 1 day boat trip around the Amalfi coastline. She recommended we get off in Positano on the trip, which we did, and it was the most beautiful coastal town we'd ever seen - thanks for the tip, Stefania! We stayed in a wonderful clean room with an en suite bathroom, and had access to a lovely garden area and a large shared balcony with a dining table and a sofa on it. We cannot recommend this beautiful hotel enough - Stefania and her family are the most amazing hosts, and we will definitely return one day.
The friendliest, kindest welcome in the whole of Italy. A perfectly lovely place to stay. Thank you so much to Stefania and her mother for looking after my daughter and her friend so well during their stay. We will definitely all come back.
The best view of the mountain and the ocean, great bakery in front, the service car 1 euro per trip was amazing and they take you to the beach or the the train station. In midtown there is a good pizza restaurant for good prices.
We stayed here for about a week in July. There's a train station in this town that connects quite easily to Sorrento, so that's why we chose it as our jumping-off point for our vacation. Stefania is wonderful and very helpful. There was a taxi that was available to guests at this hotel through a phone call, which made things very easy to reach. She booked a day cruise for us and was always available to give us information about how to get to just about anywhere and whether it would be worth it.
The beach in Meta has amazing water and a beautiful view. Also, Annaré and da Gildo were our favorite restaurants. They have great food at a good price.
We highly recommend the guided tour, which is only available one day a week. It's a tour that's free for guests of this hotel, and lets you see Meta from a different perspective (and you get to taste bread, cheese, and granita!) Overall, we thoroughly recommend this hotel. It's a great place to stay if you're there to see the Amalfi Coast.
My friends and I spent a few days in Meta at Casa Stefania, and we loved every second of it! Stefania and her wonderful family are extremely hospitable and very helpful. They greeted us with open arms and did everything possible to ensure that we had a great stay! The place is very clean, in a wonderful location, and offers a beautiful view of the coast. They have a delicious plum tree in their front garden, which Stefania and her mother would always clean and give to us :) There are also some really great places to eat which Stefania recommended to us. On my last day there, she set me up with a free walking tour of Meta which is probably the best tour I have ever been on! If you come to the Sorrento area, you must stay here as it is perfect in every aspect!!! We love you Stefania!
We traveled to Meta with friends and were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. The patio, garden and terrace of the two bedroom, two bath apartment was great. Our host, Stefania, was very helpful and provided much needed help during our stay!
We stayed here in 2008 and had a wonderful time. Stefanias place is very clean and comfortable. And affordable compared to the many places in Sorrento. It is about a 15 minute walk into town which we enjoyed. But may be a bit much for older folks or young children because of the hills. We would love to stay here again when we return. Ask Stefania about Josephs agriturismo farmhouse for the best meal ever!
My experience at Casa Stefania was absolutely wonderful. The location is great, the rooms are beautiful and Stefania and her family are lovely hosts. Stefania went out of her way to make a group of 8 comfortable at late notice and she was there to help whenever we needed her.
Nuzzled up in the hills of Meta, Casa Stefania provides an Italian experience that doesn't feel like the usual touristy one you get in the main towns. Meta is gorgeous, filled with friendly people, great food, and breathtaking scenery.
I will be staying at Casa Stefania again! I cannot recommend it highly enough!
