We stayed at Hotel Kandahar this past weekend for just one night - arriving Friday, with plans to ski all day Saturday and leave. The hotel staff was so accomodating, they emailed me personally after I booked online; got us a corner room with a partial view of the slopes when there were no more slope view available; they explained everything in detail for ski rentals, dinner, cheap parking nearby, shopping and bars, arranged for our lift passes, and what blew me away the most was that they let us keep our things in the room until late saturday afternoon so we could shower before going home (they coordinated to leave that room free since they were not full up). We also had use of the equipment locker for our skis all day (after we were to check out).. on top of that the staff are just plain friendly and very pleasant! Best location steps from the lifts, fantastic and very full breakfast buffet and do not miss the cheese fondue!! They even save your wine for you after dinner. I love you guys, I will be back!

Such a nice hotel and very spacious especially in comparison to most European hotels I've stayed in. Great price too. would highly recommend it

My family and I wanted something close to the mountains so we could hike the Pyrenees. It seems to be a hotel more equipped for ski vacations, but it was fine for a hiking vacation as well. Breakfast was included. The family room was huge, with beds for 6. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It's not the Ritz, but it was great for what we wanted.
Location.
Situated in Andorra la Vella and offering easy access to winter activities, Hotel Carlton Plaza is within the vicinity of Placa del Poble, Pal-Arinsal Ski Resort, and Encamp-Grandvalira Ski Area. Also nearby are Church of Saint Stephen and Caldea Spa.
Hotel Features.
After a day on the slopes, enjoy use of the hotel's facilities like a health club, a sauna, and a fitness facility. At the end of the day, order après-ski drinks at the hotel's bar.
Guests can enjoy a meal at the onsite restaurant. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas and an Internet point is located on site. Guest parking is available on a limited first-come, first-served basis (surcharge).
