Hotel - Restaurant 't Putje - Bruges

This hotel is just around the corner from the main sights in Brugge. For that is was very good. It was rather difficult to find at night . GPS got us to the area, but I had to ask a couple of people to find the hotel - guess I expected a lighted sign. We had a superior room reserved, but they changed it to a standard room, as we needed two beds. The […] room was OK, the bathroom not very good. I would have liked to have a shower. We were on the third floor and Internet service ranged between miserable and non-existent,. We did find a spot where we got a decent connection on the patio outside, but that wasn't too great in a misty October. They need to improve their Internet service., We had one night booked, but decided to stay in the area and in the hotel a second night. My adult son did not like the hotel much, but he agreed that was OK to spend a second night, as it would have been a hassle to change hotels. The hotel right across the street from a concern hall and there is a large underground parking garage right there. About 9 Euro to park overnight. The hotels location was perfect for walking from the train station. Lots of great restaurants and shopping steps away. I was able to check in early and everyone was accommodating. This hotel can not be faulted for location. 10 minutes walk from the rail station, and 10 minutes walk to the main square. It is also on a street crammed with restaurants, and a massive tourist information centre across the way. Breakfast consists of cereal,bread rolls,cheese,ham,jams and pan aux chocolat. Clean room, great location - on the edge of the old town. Easy access to the public car park, only costs 8.70 euro/night. Breakfast was very basic - cereal, toast & coffee. Hot breakfast - which you would normally expect to be served - was offered for a price.

Given the high price of most other hotels in Brugges, this hotel is worth consideration as it is right by the parking station, and central to most sights. The room was tired but clean - 3 star level; but the breakfast and dining areas are excellent. Staff were very helpful in rectifying a problem with the room safe. El lugar es bueno. El desayuno estaba incluido en el precio y éste era bastante completo. El único inconveniente fue que pedí dos camas separadas, pero ellos me dieron una cama doble. Pero lo demás estuvo todo bien.

Voor één nachtje viel het allemaal best wel mee. De kamer was nog in renovatie ofwel snel (half) opgeknapt om zo snel mogelijk te kunnen verhuren... Bij het binnenkomen op de kamer was het koud (15° - buiten vrieskou -2°, chauffage stond af..?) Op de muren en plafond van de badkamer hangt bv. nog plaksel van de tegels, verroeste chauffage, roze schimmel […] tussen voegen... Sober ontbijt (witte pistolet, mini croissant-chocoladebroodje, bruin brood, hesp, kaas, choco en confituur + koffie, thee of fruitsap, eitjes aan meerprijs, minimum €5). die servicequalität des Frühstückes läaast under der neuen Führung des Hotels sehr zu wünschen übrig. Einer gibt es nur gegen Aufpreis genauso wie Jogurth , Speck, und andere Dinge das war in diesem Hotel schon mal viel besser. Die Gäste waren sich alle am beschweren.

L'hôtel est sympa, notre chambre était très bien, propre. La salle de bain dispose d'une baignoire. Il est vrai que l'insonorisation n'est pas génial, on a entendu les gens qui passaient dans le couloir le matin à l'heure du petit dej'. Rien à redire sur l'accueil, le personnel était très agréable. Dans la salle du petit déjeuner, les fauteuils sont […] un peu abimés. Sinon le petit déjeuner est vraiment bon, pas énormément de choix mais tous les produits étaient de bonne qualité. Il manque sûrement un peu de charcuterie pour les amateurs (même s'il y en a). Au final on est très content d'avoir choisi cet hôtel ! Même si tout n'est pas parfait, il ne s'agit que de petits détails qui n'ont absolument pas perturbé notre nuit à l'hôtel. Read more
