"Beautiful Hotel"
This is a beautiful and well appointed hotel in a little village in the mountains, very close to Rome. Our room was quite large for Italy, very clean and the linens were gorgeous! The staff very friendly and extremely attentive. The restaurant at the hotel is five star, also the restaurants on this little street are gourmand and noteworthy. We will definitely return!

"Amazing spot. Do yourself a favor and stay here."
Loved it. They treated me like I was a guest in their home, but I also had the comfort and privacy of my own room. The bathroom was gorgeous and shower was luxurious. They went above and beyond to make it special. And the breakfast was a beautiful and tasty feast.

"Der Kunde ist Koenig"
Ein kleines familiengefuehrtes Hotel, liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Eigentuemer und das Personal legen sehr viel Wert darauf dass die Gaeste sich wohl fuellen. Sehr zu empfehlen auch das Restaurant mit fantastisch vorbereiteten regionalen Spezialitaeten. Das Hotel is einige Schritte entfernt von der Stadtmitte.

"Great experience"

It was our first visit to the area and the hotel. It was a delightful experience from the moment we arrived. Vincenzo greeted us at the front desk and immediately made us feel at home. The hotel was beautiful and we learned that it is family owned. Vincenzo recommended that we eat the their restaurant. The food and service were terrific and the owner provided us with a tour of their newly re-designed kitchen. We choose to dine there both nights during our visit.

"A place to stay at"

This Hotel is not just a hotel ... It is much more. The restaurant next door as part of the hotel is full of culture flavour and atmosphere. .good food too. The hotel offers luxury and class with value for money.(not cheap yet it is worth it) We enjoyed our stop over for one night and wished it was more. One small remark... Although the rooms are professionally decorated when it came to the phone directory to call the receptionist. . I failed so I had to rush down stairs to get the info and service that I needed urgently. Otherwise it is a very neat hotel with great hosts and adequate breakfast. I will visit it again.

"A must see!"

Incredible service. Impeccable rooms and the restaurant is one of the best in the Region! We couldn't believe the price ! Something like this in Rome is valued at least twice as much. Try the amatriciana pasta and the lamb chops! The house wine is better than the bottled one: a great merlot. Below the restaurant there is a sort of catacomb with old bottles of wine on the side. Make sure to get the appetizers with Prosecco down there before going up for your meal. The owners are running both the hotel and the restaurant. I visited the kitchen and felt I could eat on that floor: clean while cooks were making pasta from scratch or barbecuing the meat. Have a chat with owners Ilio and Anna and you might get an idea of how much they love what they do !

"Beautiful Small Hotel"

We have visited the excellent restaurant on the same site many times over the last 25 years and decided to treat ourselves to a night at the boutique hotel and dinner next door. Unfortunately, no-one thought to inform us when we booked that the restaurant was closed for refurbishment during our visit! This would have been a much bigger disappointment but the gorgeous hotel more than made up for it and we found other good restaurants nearby. We had two rooms on the 3rd floor, 304 Usignola and 302 Garofolella, both with balconies. Both rooms were beautiful with modern furniture and fittings but a real sense of tradition with wooden beams and gorgeous mosaic bathrooms with good showers. The public area is also very well presented and the service on reception was outstanding. We have always liked Grottaferrata but never stayed before but we will definitely be back for another visit.

Breakfast was nice, well presented...Paolo, the owner a gentleman...very helpful suggesting day trips in the area. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure!

"Gorgeous Boutique hotel"

This is a very charming hotel with detail that draws together the ornate beauty of traditional art & antique with the modern requirements of todays traveller. The room I had was a double room, it was small but had everything I needed, it was very clean, comfortable and warm with the added bonus of Italian stylish beauty in the décor. The bathroom again was beautifully decorated with the vintage design coupled with modern fittings and complimentary supplies of amenities in case you forgot something e.g. a toothbrush. Breakfast was lovely with local fresh pastries & other delightful offerings. The people that own & work there are very kind and helpful and you can see that they are striving to build a beautiful, highly reputable and classy boutique hotel with a great deal of attention to detail and that is what you get. I would recommend this hotel.

"SmAll but charming"

family atmosphere, cosy lobby, warm welcome. We were there with several other couples attending a conference nearby. Only draw back, very small room even for Europe. All went well until check out, we learned that though we had been told breakfast was included we were not told if we had room service we would pay FULL price for breakfast. Our appeal for some reduction ($30.00 a day additional) went unheeded in spite of our booking 3 rooms and hosting an expensive meal in the restaurant.

"Small hotel that oozes charm and quality"

We travelled as a family of 5, and we needed 3 rooms. On check in we were given free parking in the car park opposite for our 2 cars.. The rooms were very comfortable and bathrooms were beautifully decorated. We ate in the hotel restaurant which is next door, but is accessible through the hotel. The food was excellent and enjoyed by all of us. The restaurant itself is very rustically decorated. The breakfast the next morning was served in the foyer. The only way to describe the breakfast was picturesque It also looked delicious..It was almost a shame to eat it, however we did. A fantastic hotel which we hope to return to.
