Lovely staff, fun old beautiful building, perfectly located within the city walls. The breakfast was ok... But...free parking is a stretch. The free parking is located a 7-10 minute walk away, difficult to find even with a city map.

I can only say good things about this hotel. Large rooms, very clean with a balcony and a (small) view of the boardwalk/carnevale. Outstanding breakfast buffet. Located within three minutes to the official entrance of the carnevale. The staff is very helpful and friendly. You can get reduced (in price) tickets at the reception and they will tell you how to save on parking as well. Really deserves a fourth star.

Even though the rooms are tiny, you can't beat the location. Look out the window and there is the leaning tower of Pisa - maybe one minute to walk there. If you know about Italian traffic rules and signs, don't be discouraged. The signs warn you not to drive into the historic district, but as a guest of this hotel you can and will receive a special parking permit. The remainder of Pisa and lots of restaurants are right around the corner.

We planed to stay in this Hotel for 3 nights starting March 31 2013 as a base for visit in the vicinity area. Eventually we only stayed there one night and they charged us for 2 nights. We started bad. it was very complicated to arrive and once we arrived we saw no sign of the Hotel. When we finally got there it was surprising to confront a narrow steep […] stair room that could have been cleaner and repaired. The room was nice but the window was not isolated from the street noise and we found ourselves trying to catch a sleep with all the noise of the street directly with us - in our room. Breakfast did not meet our expectations from an Hotel rated that high. Read more

Excellent location, but the hotel is definitely not 4 star; more 2 to 3 star. Avoid rooms facing the street as there can be lots of noise at night.

There are probably cheaper hotels in lucca, but this is a lovely find and one that I'd gladly recommend to others. Not particularly cheap, but smack in the heart of the town itself, with Internet provided and a parking space if it is needed (not free - there was some confusion on the website about this). Lovely old building too - worth a stay.

We really enjoyed every minute of our stay at this hotel. It has a wonderful location and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The family room in which we stayed was spacious and clean. The breakfasts were wonderful. I can recommend this hotel, great value for money.

Wirklich ein superschönes romantisches Hotel. Zentral in der Altstadt (Fussgängerzone) von Lucca gelegen, direkt an der Haupteinkaufs"strasse" Via Fillungo. Jede Menge Restaurannts in der Umgebung. Zum Einchecken kann man vorfahren, das Auto kann man auf einem bewachten Parkplatz in der Nähe abstellen (oder kostenlos ein paar Meter ausserhalb der Stadtmauer). […] Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt, da das Zimmer so ansprechend und wohnlich und komfortabel ausgestattet war. Ausserdem sind die Hotelbetreiber einfach sehr, sehr nett und hilfsbereit, so dass man sich mehr wie bei einem Aufenthalt bei Freunden, als in einem Hotel fühlt. Ganz besonders erwähnenswert: das Frühstück. Einfach der Hammer! Und jeden Morgen gab es noch kleine, feine frische Extras als Überraschungen dazu. Escale sur la route de Rome nous avons été ravis de cet hôtel. Andréa est charmant et très disponible. La situation de l’hôtel en plein cœur de la vieille ville est parfaite pour sortir le soir (prenez l'option parking ça vaut le coup). Les chambres sont très bien et le petit déjeuner tout à fait correct avec un délicieux café !!!

A Palazzo Busdraghi Hotel ist kein Hotel -und auf keinen Fall mit den ausgewiesenen vier Sternen- sondern eher eine normale Pension auf der ersten Etage eines alten Palazzo.Alles sehr einfach und wenig originell.Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht - zu teuer.Lediglich die Lage ist sehr gut.

Should have booked in a bigger hotel! This one is too small. No area for relaxing, no pc, no lift, no firealarmdetector in our room, cheap breakfast. But good service! But 4-stars are not possible anyway. Besides this was the most expensive of the four good hotels we stayed at during our week in Tuscany.

Perfect location on main street in central Lucca. Quiet atmosphere as Palazzo Busdraghi is located in a small courtyard. Nice decoration with classic feel. Did not expect a jacuzzi in the bathroom (we stayed in room 7). Very friendly staff. And a lovely city for a romantic weekend!
