After reading some of the other reviews I was a little worried when we got to this hotel. However our room was clean and tidy, everything worked. Luckily it was only on the first floor, carrying 23kg+ bags up stairs isn't ideal. The breakfast is served in your room, although there isn't a lot of it, only bread rolls, crossiant and yogurt? Nothing to my liking maybe that could be improved? My only issue was the terrible wifi. Being on the first floor I would have thought it would be ok but it was constantly dropping in and out and when connected wouldn't actually load a page etc. That was a pain as we liked keeping in touch with family while away. So breakfast and wifi were my issues, but otherwise I decent hotel.
"Close to Rialto"

This is a small hotel close to the Rialto "bus" wharf and an easy walk to St Mark's Square. The staff varied from very friendly to aloof, but it was clean and comfortable. It has no lift, being an old building down a narrow alley, so if you have heavy bags, it may not be for you, but it is convenient for the vaporetto and there are lots of good cafes and bars nearby. We were able to leave our main bags there when we went to Padua for a few days and they did not charge us to do so.

Booked this hotel through Booking.com who if you have a complaint are not interested, stayed for 3 nights. We had room 141 with a terrace, thought it would be nice to sit in the evening but had the smell of cooking from restaurant below and sitting on rusting chairs was not pleasant. The room on the top of 4 flights of stairs was OK being pensioners but the state of it, ceiling and fabric padded walls had numerous squashed bugs on them over 100 at least and fabric on the walls also dirty. reception were not interested said only took over Hotel on the 5 June (we arrived 7th) at least they could have cleaned the mosquitoes from the ceiling before our arrival and given a small discount ( as they have your card no you have no choice but to pay). I had to clean the mosquitoes from the ceiling that I could reach as my wife could not lie in bed looking at them, we had no choice but to stay and finding other accommodation would not have been easy. As previous reviews breakfast was poor and carpet could have done with a cleaning. The maids were good but reception poor all they want is your money Do not stay here or book with Booking.com who will not deal with complaints by post, e/mail only sent numerous mails and the photos each time said only received some mails but no photos but a friend who I linked into did received them they just don't want to know. you have no comeback if there is a fault. I was grateful that we had booked a water taxi from the railway station as they walked us Around to the hotel. I would never have found it at that time of day. This is a very small hotel set away from the Rialto and down some side alleys. At first meeting the reception person was quite friendly.however it was to get worse. The room was two floors up very steep stairs and no lift. The Room was very small..very small. It was the beginning of summer and quite warm,so I opened the windows. As night time progressed so did the avenge of the Mosquitos. The air conditioning didn't work . The toilet wouldn't stop flushing and the faceplate fell off the wall. It was apparent that they had not undertaken maintenance and this has happened before . It was not a pleasant night as the mozzies moved in..plenty of blood on the sheets. Breakfast the next day not generous and on my world trip probably rated the worst Experience. I brought up the issues with the manager in reception. 1/ Air conditioning ..we don't turn it on as it is not hot enough yet. 2/ Mosquitos..we don't have Mosquitos. Told him to check the blood on the sheets. This man is a rude objectionable clown who should not be in business. A disgrace to the hospitality industry. I wouldn't stay there again ..never never never.

I cannot believe that AAA and Travel Bound called this a three start Inn! The room was disgustingly dirty, the a/c dripped water on the rug for the duration of our stay which thankfully was only 2 days - and the staff was rude! They kept telling us the a/c would be fixed but it never was. Breakfast was a joke - a couple stale rolls and some juice and coffee, and our room was never turned over - our bed was never made - had to ask for more towels and tissue!!! I loved Venice but wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! It took us over an hour just to find this dive! AAA I am thoroughly disappointed.

Muy buena atención de parte de todo el personal, bue asesoramiento, excelente ubicación para conocer Venecia, fácil de llegar, seguro y confortable. Buena ducha y cama muy cómoda. Desayuno algo simple pero llevado a la habitación. Recomendable 100%.

Faccio sempre molta fatica a capire le recensioni che sono sempre negative. In questo caso oltre che incomprensibile è anche immotivato. Stiamo parlando di Venezia e del pieno centro di Venezia perciò ottima posizione baricentrica, il servizio è cortese e professionale, l'Hotel da ciò che promette ( il che per Venezia è quasi un eccezione ) la colazione la si può fare sul terrazzino interno che è molto carino. Conosco molto bene Venezia dove sono stato per vari anni e certamente se dovessi tornare utilizzerei lo stesso Hotel. Grazie del servizio che mi avete fornito e della cortesia dimostrata.

La residencia se encuentra en medio de la "Isla", la ubicacion es excelente, a pocas cuadras de Plaza San Marcos. Las habitaciones son muy bonitas y limpias. la atencion correcta. Claramente Recomendable.
