It was a pleasant, clean and modern place to stay before we left Italy the next morning. The free shuttle service to the airport was a nice perk. The evening reception desk person was very friendly and also gave us great advise of a good place to eat in the area.

All in all a great little B&B. Only small annoyances location on main street a bit loud, internet when it did work: it was very slow. Housekeeping only available before 12pm. So if you are not out of your room by then you won't have toilet paper, fresh towels etc. Good perks free snacks and and drinks.

Description of Meridiana - Rome

Location.
Located in Rome (Rome City Centre), Meridiana is close to Diocletian Bath, Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, and Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. Also nearby are Roman Forum and Colosseum.

Hotel Features.
In addition to multilingual staff and tour/ticket assistance, Meridiana features a safe deposit box at the front desk. Wireless Internet access is available in public areas (surcharges apply). Additional amenities include tour assistance and air conditioning in public areas. For a surcharge, guests have access to a roundtrip airport shuttle (available on request). location was perfect for us as it was close to the train station and easy to find. although the staff english wasn't great they always went over and... above to try and help us with our needs. Very friendly. Not unlike other non smoking hotels, reception area was smoked in and spilled into our room but a towel under the door fixed this problem. the mini fridge was handy, shower was big, beds were stiff (a trend in italy) by andrew from victoria on 05/02/13
