The hotel owner was very friendly and accomodating. The breakfast choices which were included were great! We arrived during a cold period and it snowed and was very windy. The heat was not sufficient in the two rooms we reserved. That is my only complaint. Otherwise would be a great place to stay in good weather.

great place. only downside was the bathroom was about 18 inches wide. my knees literally touched the wall when i was sitting on toilet and i'm not a big person! but i'm sure all the bathrooms are not that small. the towels in the room were huge and fluffy. breakfast was adequate.

We had troubles finding maps to the hotel, but based on another person's review indicating that the hotel was just a short walk through the tunnel, we were easily able to find it. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to others.

We loved staying at Giovanni Rooms! We would definitely stay here again. You couldn't find a better location. The view is absolutely stunning. I think Manarola's the most beautiful city to stay in, too. The rooms are really nice and well kept. The only thing to keep in mind is that walking to the hotel from the train station is a little bit of a hike, just because it's near the top of the city. It doesn't take long (5-10 min.), but it's steep. It was fine for us, but a little bit hard on my older in-laws.

Thought I was getting a room with a balcony, but they put us in a room with an alley view. I asked for a change and they said a balcony room would be available the next day for an up charge of 20 Euro. Its a nice hotel with a good breakfast and convenient location, but not worth the price if you don't get a balcony room.

My husband and I stayed at Villa degli Argentieri for one night. Our room was at the back of the Hotel on the ground floor, no stairs two climb. The bathroom is very quirky Italian seaside. The room was quite small but ok for the night. Breakfast was good. We wanted to stay for another night but the Hotel was fully booked and the manager recommended […] a B & B in the old part of town that had just opened which had a vacancy.
