This hotel is perfectly situated off Las Ramblas and Placa Catalunya. The staff is extremely friendly and were able to help with several recommendations. I would recommend that you bring towels and pillows with you, as theirs are somewhat undersized and not too comfy. Other than that, the room was adequately sized (for Europe), the bathroom was amazing, and the hotel was nice and quiet, despite their close proximity to the heart of the city. They even have a free ice machine on the ground floor. I have already recommended this hotel to a colleague and would definitely stay here agian. Make sure to have the churros at the cafe next door!

We stayed on the top floor, and the room was nice, spacious, clean, and elegant. However, I kept waking up throughout the night because the elevator motors would make a loud noise when people used the elevator. It wasn't a huge problem during the week when less people were using the elevator at night, but it constantly woke me up over the weekend, when people were up all hours of the night. So be warned...

Excellent location. Small and clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in February, 2013. Suggest to ask for higher floor to minimize outside noise.

This is an apartment, not an hotel so any kind of amenities are not to be expected. Lets start with the Pros. Location, great location in the heart of Barcelona although it comes with its issues. Room for many, we were 4 to 6 on any given night and had room to spare with 2 full baths and a half bath. Full Kitchen Historic building from 1856, has its […] charm The Cons Very thick walls, extremely thin windows. You might as well have the windows open because it doesn't matter. You will hear every shop that opens or closes, all the people in the street. Very sketchy entrance and building Patio. Most of the building consists of rentals or hostals, it shouldn't take that much for all the owners to get together and fix it up, also paint the front door full of graffitis. Bathroom maintenance, they need to get deeper into the cleaning and could use some general re caulking. After booking through hotels.com you must do another registration and pay a deposit. All great there, only problem is that I asked if I could pay with a credit card when I arrived and was answered yes a couple times, but guess what. When I get there they only take cash. So I am there on a sunday, no banks open, trying to use multiple cards at a ATM machine to pay the rest of the stay, and its not the safest neighborhood. I don't mind paying in cash, but they could have just said so so that I would have exchanged at the airport or at my bank. Read more

Apartment was in a great location for our visit to barcelona. A very spacious apartment for our group of 8 people. The apartment needed to be cleaned properly before we arrived as it was extremely dusty. If the basic clean up & hoovering was carried out before we arrived it would have been the perfect apartment.

Stilig og stor leilighet i gamlebyen. Kun 5 minutter unna havnen og Ramblaen. Mye støy etter at utestedene stengte, og søppelbilen på natten hørtes ut som "krystallnatten". Ingen resepsjon for inn-/utlevering av nøkler, men kontaktperson var veldig hyggelig og ordentlig.

Perfekt plassering midt i gamlebyen. Men dårlig lydisolering trekker ned. Nattestid høres mye støy fra gaten og fra ungdomsherberget i samme oppgang hvor man hører ringeklokka hver gang noen skal inn. Ellers er leiligheten mer enn stor nok for en familie.

Room was very big, buuut: most of the things in the kitchen, were dirty, fridge dirty, lights over stove not working, 2 of 3 aircons not working, tv-box not working-so no tv, wifi to poor - worked only close to the the exit:(. All in all....apt needs to be fixed, to be worth the money!!!

Een prima verblijf op een prima lokatie met heel veel ruimte en comfort ! wij waren met 3 personen maar je kunt er gemakkelijk met 6 personen in. Er zijn 2 aparte slaapkamers met een 2-persoonsbed en een woonkamer met een slaapbank. 2 badkamers met toilet en een apart toilet. Zeker aan te bevelen en door de centrale ligging ideaal
