First let me say the the staff at Grovefield is exceptional and quite accomodating. There is absolutely the feel of a lovely country home.

This is a great little hotel, but what everyone should know is there aren't really any hotels on airport property. They all require a bus ride. But the most important realization is that Terminal 5 is in the middle of nowhere and a long way from any other terminal. Therefore the Premier Inn is not onside. The next thing to know is the 423 bus is a FREE ride to and from Terminal 5. You don't need to pay for the overpriced H shuttles. Just hop on and pay attention to your stop. From Heathrow the Premier in will appear on the left once you're on Bay Road. Watch for the White Horse Pub as your marker that you're getting close. Great staff to help you with local transport and tell you where to find things like UK mobile phones.

Situated in Reading, Beech House Hotel is close to Prospect Park, Reading Abbey Ruins, and Madejski Stadium. Also nearby are Hexagon and Reading Civic Centre.

"Attentive hosts"
From the minute I arrived I felt cared for. I did not feel like I was an inconvenience which is usually my experience. Attention to detail was maintained throughout my stay and the experience was generally pleasant. The house and grounds are cared for and this was very apparent. "Useful for business"

"The only hotel I stay in, in Reading"
Very clean, excellent customer service, lovely breakfast and enough parking. There's no facilities to dine in for dinner but there is a Harvester across the road which is more than sufficient for a good value meal. Hotel was nice and reasonably well located, within walking distance to Reading Centre. Disappointingly the Hotel doesn't do food at night although there is a Beefeater type place just over the road. Otherwise it's a trip in a car into Reading (whioch I had to do as the Beefeater was packed).
