The location is perfect, right across the street from the Valporetto (the water bus). Eugenio, the concierge is the best I have experienced in any hotel in any country. He went out of his way to make our stay wonderful. Coffee and tea any time of day, letting me use the hotel computer (several times), arranging a free motorboat ride to the glass works in Murano,marking a map with the number of the valporetto to take (including the times for when we had to leave early to get to the airport, and just being one of the nicest people I have ever met! The room was spacious and immaculate with three windows, one overlooking the Grand Canal. The bathroom was spotless and well lit, even had a towel warmer for the towels, the heating control was well appreciated since it snowed the day we arrived! With the Valporetto station just across the street it is easy to get anywhere in Venice. About 20 minutes from the bus station at Pont Roma on the 5.1 to the hotel. Or take the line 1 and cruise down the Grand Canal on the way to the hotel. I love Lido since one doesn't have to cross bridges or walk a long way to the hotel and there are many restaurant choices within a 2 block area.

"Bra läge men dålig standard"
Detta är ej ett hotell utan du får nycklarna till en liten lägenhet med två rum. Städningen innan vi kom var inget vidare. En tjej ringde coh guidade oss till lägenheten (Cannaregio-området) och tog betalt och visade oss runt lite. Sedan hörde vi inte av henne på hela veckan vi bokade. MEN det positiva är att lägenheten i sig är mysig och har de bekvämligheter […] som behövs, diskmaskin, gasspis, modern toa (dock sliten), micro, kyl+frysfack och en stor säng med hård madrass. :) Så för den som ej har höga krav på att allt skall fungera och få service och vara perfekt rent så är detta BRA, annars blir man besviken. "Appartement Venise 1 chambre"
