"On Town Square Good Base for Somme tour" Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Sep 19, 2012

The hotel is a good jump off point for the Somme world war 1 tours. It is on the town square with plenty of eating places near by. Monday is difficult to find restaurants' open but the hotel restaurant is open. The hot breakfast is ordinary with cold and dry eggs and cold sausage.

This cheap hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of access, location and services. Even though the room was very small, contained a bunk bed (triple), and had a shoe-box and somewhat substandard bathroom, it was very clean and provided basic amenities, such as breakfast, after-hours dispensers for coffee and snacks as well as an express checkout. We were willing to overlook deficiencies, such as French-only TV, because of its attempt to provide good value for money.

The chateau is stunning and the grounds even more so. Our room had cushioned silk lined walls and antique furniture including marble-lined drawers! The price was very reasonable, especially considering how expensively furnished the rooms are, and a traditional French breakfast is included. im Hotel wirklich nur Fruehstueck, es gibt ausser der Reihe nicht einmal Getraenke. Man ist auf das Auto angewiesen. Aber alle sind sehr hilsfbereit.
