One of the reasons I chose this hotel was the location. It is close to the city center and within walking distance to most of the sights. The hotel claims to have air conditioning but what they don't say is that it is only for a few hours a day. And it won't run if you are out of the room as the room key is needed to turn on ANY electricity. Our room was most uncomfortable because of this. We had to sleep with the window completely open so of course the sun came in also. The breakfast buffet is an amazing. I have never seen so many choices and in a very elegant setting.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Bari Best Western. The rooms were lovely and the breakfast delicious. Best cappuccino's, gracious hosts. Especially loved the older gentleman who served us our coffees. It's very close to the ancient city, and the sea which we had the opportunity to see.

Bartelomeo and Angela were the best hosts and this property is a dream home for anyone traveling in the South of Italy. Close to many small local cities with a lots to see. Great breakfast included.

good location if you are heading south from Bari, maybe en route to elsewhere. Breakfast was stupendous, on 6th floor with lovely sea views. Service was courteous, food delicious. Plenty of choice (even our gluten-free group member was catered for). Room was spotless, with nice bathroom.

The hotel is right on the highway outside of Bari. The room was clean and fairly quiet. However, it was warm and the air conditioner was noisy and not effective in making the room cooler. The breakfast was served on the top floor with a deck overlooking the Adriatic. It was superb, with a big selection and one of the best cappachinos I've had so far […] in Italy. The morning staff were terrific. We had a problem with our GPS and they were very helpful with suggestions and directions to an electronics store in the area. Read more

recommended for beach people, as the beach is not too far away, however you must take a car to get there. Recommended for people wanting to explore the coastal & mountain towns, vineyards and olive groves. Breakfast is typical continental for Europe. Hotel is clean and car park is secure.

The hotel is very good, perfectly clean. The room is comfortable. The breakfast good (specially the capuccino). The staff nice and friendly (thank you Cristina for all the tips). We spent one night before moving on to Gargano and exploring the vicinity - there's a lot to see in Bari but I didn't want to deal with the traffic at 'il centro' so this was a great location in that respect. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast was unimpeachable; fresh food simply prepared - Love Italy!

The hotel staff was brilliant and very pleasant. The breakfast was very very generous and the views were fantastic. It is not very close to the Bari centre so you do need a car but the hotel runs a shuttle service which is not too expensive.
