It was a pleasant, clean and modern place to stay before we left Italy the next morning. The free shuttle service to the airport was a nice perk. The evening reception desk person was very friendly and also gave us great advise of a good place to eat in the area.

All in all a great little B&B. Only small annoyances location on main street a bit loud, internet when it did work: it was very slow. Housekeeping only available before 12pm. So if you are not out of your room by then you won't have toilet paper, fresh towels etc. Good perks free snacks and and drinks.

Location.
Located in Rome (Rome City Centre), Hotel Mamiani is close to Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, and Diocletian Bath. Also nearby are Teatro dell'Opera di Roma and Colosseum.

Hotel Features.
In addition to multilingual staff and tour/ticket assistance, Hotel Mamiani features laundry facilities. Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. The staff can provide tour assistance and currency exchange. Additional amenities include room service (during limited hours), a safe deposit box at the front desk, and express check-in. For a surcharge, guests have access to a roundtrip airport shuttle (available on request).

After shopping around online, I found the Hotel Mamiani prices to be reasonable for what you get, in a world class urban city like Rome. The negative... comments online, simply did not materialize. The staff were friendly and vey helpful. Breakfast was delivered to our room everyday, on time and was delicious. The recommended restaurant, our first night, was filled with locals and great food! The room was very clean, including a safe and a comfortable bed. The lighting (a bit dim, some bed side lamps would help) and bathroom (small for two people to access at same time & instruction on flushing the toilet would be helpful) took a bit of getting used to, but worked fine. The neighborhood, at first glance and upon arrival, after several hours of weary travel, seemed a bit dicey (mostly the graffiti & myriad of strange little shops, selling plastic junk from China) but we were never hassled, nor did we feel un-safe. In fact there is a police station just around the corner. The proximity to the central transportation hub, Termini Statione, was ideal. Would recommend & return ourselves, as soon as maybe possible. The location was the best thing out of the whole stay. The place is pretty difficult to find. There is only a tiny sign on the wall next to the door. The room is very basic, although there is AC. The staff was quite rude.

It's clean room and friendly staff! Breakfast included and sent to the room on time! Only minor issue would be the toilet, not very big! For friends and budget planner, definitely recommended! Family would have issue with it I guess!

We were 6 adults staying in 3 rooms and we unanimously agreed that this hotel more than met our expectations. It provided the European atmosphere we were seeking and the staff was more than helpful and accommodating. Being close to the Metro station was an added bonus. We were able to walk to the Colosseum (15 minutes). After a two day visit to Venice […] and F|lorence we returned to Hotel Mamiami for our final night in Italy. We highly recommend this hotel. fint lite hotel. renheten var bra, betjeningen var behjelpelige, ca 15 min gange til coloseum, t bane 50 meter unna til de fleste andre severdigheter. ingen frokost, men alt i alt et fint sted.

Hotellet var vanskelig å finne da det kun er en liten dør med et minimalt skilt som er hotellets fasade. De ansatte er hyggelige men kan minimalt med engelsk. Beliggenheten er ok men ikke mere. MEN rommet var IKKE rent og badet luktet sterkt av urin når det ble fuktig etter en dusj. Fant det vanskelig å forklare personalet da selv de enkleste spørsmål/setninger […] var vanskelig å formidle pga språkvansker. Frokosten som ble servert på rommet var enkel og grei. Kommer ikke til å velge dette hotellet ved et senere besøk i Roma. Read more

Helheten är väl okej, vi har bott på sämre ställe än detta men ändå är bilderna "förfinade". Ingen riktig hotellkänsla och det var avföring i toaletten när vi checkade in, det fanns heller inga handdukar eller andra hygien artiklar till hands. Fönstren som fanns kunde man inte se ut igenom så känslan var väldigt instängd och inredningen var väl ganska […] ogenomtänkt. Läget var okej, nära tåg/buss/subway station. I guiden vi hade med oss stod det att man skulle undvika området kring tågstationen under kvällar och nätter dock. Annars ligger det ca 10 minuters promenad till Coloseum. Read more

This hotel i just for having a place to sleep. However it's a great choice for that reason. The room is clean and enough space. Breakfast was ok, to sweet croissant for me. Overall a nice hotell close to trainstation and walking distance to Colosseum.

Bra hotel. Rent och inte mycket trafik alls. Nära till det mesta. Bra frukost, enda som var tråkigt var en grinig tant som tog hand om den en morgon. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal dygnet runt. Kan rekomenderas.
