"Relias Grand Tour Florence Ital"
Lovely B & B in Florence that is close to all of the major sites and the hosts were extremely helpful and made you feel most welcome.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

This B&B is an easy 5 - 10 minute walk to the train station. My son and I had to catch the first bus (5 am) to the airport and carried our luggage without a problem. This B&B is within easy (5 - 15 mins) walking distance to all the major sights depending on your pace. We meet Ricardo (son of the owners) when we arrived. We stayed in the Actor room. Other people's pictures show the rooms well. The Actor room was spacious with a nice spacious modern bathroom complete with soaps and shower/shampoo gels.. The shower was in the corner and was a little larger than the typical european phone booth shower. Unlimited hot water and excellent pressure. Untypically large and fluffy towels (for we americans who complain about the size of European towels). Good restaurants were within a 5 min walk near the Market.

Five of us stayed here in the Actor suite (2) and the La Diva suite (3). Giuseppe met us outside to give us keys and let us in. He then proceeded to give us maps and highlighted all of the "must visit" locations, and also provided some suggestions of places to eat. He also helped arrange a cab for us during our stay - even helping with a problem we had of the cab company sending too small of a car for the five of us. The La Diva suite was a good setup for three people as there was a large curtain to divide the room and give some privacy. The rooms were very nice and clean. The bathrooms were also very nice, clean, and spacious. The beds themselves were not the most comfortable but they were adequate. There was a small courtyard outside of our rooms that was nice to relax in during the evenings or first thing in the morning. Good location - this was close enough to all the sights but not right on the main strip so it was much quieter. It is also only about 2 blocks from the market which was AMAZING! Overall, we were very happy with our decision to stay here and would definitely stay here again!

We love this place! The owners are so terrific and the place is so comfortable--air conditioned and spotless. The location is perfect for seeing the main sites, and Cristina and Guiseppe are so helpful. Great value!

This is an absolutely gorgeous B&B. The rooms are very large and nicely decorated for the price you pay and they are quiet as well. We stayed in the Diva suite and it was absolutely perfect. There is a beautiful outdoor patio which is surrounded by plants and flowers. We had picnics and wine on the patio and it was great! You can get a full breakfast option at a local Cafe for 7 Euro extra or they have coffee, tea, biscuits and jam for free. The owners Cristina and her husband were wonderful hosts. They gave us a map of Florence and outlined where to go. All the sights are walking distance away. We would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone.

This was our first stop in Italy. The hotel is an exceptional value for those on a budget. It is safe, clean, quiet and comes at a very reasonable cost. No frills. It is within easy walking distance of the train station (we carried our luggage) and the center of town. The owners are friendly and provide great advice on places to eat and see.

We are two couples who thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay. Cristina and Giuseppe are warm, friendly and helpful. Prior to our visit Cristina prebooked the Accademia and the Uffizi Gallery for us which was much appreciated. On our arrival Giuseppe immediately gave us a map of Florence and highlighted sights we could have missed...it was fun exploring the streets and Giuseppe's recommendations! Our rooms were clean and comfortable and there was tea, coffee and biscuits available at all times. Breakfast in the bar around the corner was delicious. The location of Grand Tour Relais was excellent. It is situated on a quiet street but is easily walkable to all major sights. We highly recommend this charming B&B!

We stayed in the Diva Suite while in Florence and my teenage daughter said she wished she could transport the whole thing back home and make it her own. A beautiful, charming gem of a place with quirky and colorful decor, super clean and beautiful bathroom with big fluffy towels, and a lovely private garden, it's close to all the attractions, yet on a quiet street. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and walked everywhere. There is also a nearby grocery store where we bought bottled water, snacks and fruit. Christina and Giuseppe were a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely stay there again.

Outstanding location -- absolutely super. Spacious, clean, and comfortable accommodations. The Diva Suite was as described on their site and boasted lots of natural light (huge skylight!), adorable and functional bathroom, and thoughtful details for that touch of Italy. Hosts are professional, helpful, and quick to respond to all requests (reservations, recommended sights, etc.). Privacy, attractive and well-maintained garden, and utter silence at night. Excellent value when you put it all together. Highly recommended, short stays or long.

My boyfriend and I travelled to Florence last weekend and spent four days there. The Relais Grand Tour was amazing. Lovely rooms in a great location and led by incredibly friendly people. Cristina and Guisseppe are so helpful and nice. Definitely want to go back as soon as we can!!

We stayed in the Actor's Suite for three nights. Guiseppe was very nice and hospitable. Although, I wish there was an easier way to contact him rather than by phone. We don't have a global cell phone plan. The room was charming and very spacious. The bathroom was really clean and had lots of storage space. The water pressure was good, but I ran out of hot water every morning after about 5 minutes. We could hear a lot of noise around us from neighbors. We could practically hear the owners' conversation through the ceiling. We could also hear their baby crying. The location was away from the touristy area, which is both good and bad. You definitely get a lot more for your money. But it was little creepy walking around the area at night. I never felt like I was in danger -- Florence isn't that kind of city -- but it was a little uncomfortable walking down graffitied streets in the dark past small groups of young men. If I go back to Florence, I'll probably spend a little more money to get a hotel near the city center. Even if it's louder, I'd rather be closer to shops and restaurants and be able to wonder around at night.
