The Brugmann Garden provided an excellent change of pace to our hectic travel schedule. The house was lovely and our room was very comfortable for the four of us. The atmosphere wasquietly elegant and relaxed. Great breakfast.

Overall, this hotel was acceptable. It was a very long walk from the nearest subway station (Simonis) however. I liked the size of the room and the... bathroom, very generous compared to some places I've stayed in Europe. I didn't purchase any food there so I can't speak to its quality or value. The biggest downside for me was that there was no staff on duty at 6 am when I needed to check out and catch a train to leave the city. I had assumed that hotels kept someone around 24 hours a day in case of an urgent situation with a guest or to send out wake-up calls in the early hours, but when I needed to check out I was faced with a locked metal gate. We stayed here the night of the Belgium vs Scotland football match. Location was good for the stadium - 10 minute walk to the metro station and then a few stops to the stadium itsefl. Staff were friendly, service was good and while the hotel was pretty basic it did us fine for the night.

The hotel is reasonable. It is 4km outside the city centre. Walking 10 min for the metro station. It is clean but u can smell old smoke that is stopped now as there is a fine implementrd now. good value for money

Litet prisvärt hotell. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Ligger en bit utanför centrala Bryssel. 5 minuter till språvagnshållplats och sedan byter du lätt til Metro för att exempelvis kunna ta dig in till Europaparlementet. Frukost ingår ej i rumspriset. God middag på hotellets restaurang!.

The hotel is clean and fairly recently refurbished. It is located a bit far from the city center but it is a good place to stay overnight, and especially, if you're traveling by car the hotel is quite easy to reach and there's free parking on the street just outside the hotel. Our price for the room was fairly cheap but it didn't include the breakfast. […] However, there's a nice restaurant downstairs that offers different kind of breakfast options (not too cheap, though) and other kind of meals throughout the day. The staff of the hotel and the restaurant were very friendly and correct to us. Our room was fairly small and it was supposed to be non-smoking but, however, there was some smell of cigarette smoke in the room and in the stairway. The free wi-fi connection was very good! Furthermore, the hotel is located by a busy main road and we could here some noise of the traffic in our room which was up in the 5th floor. No problem of that, nevertheless. Read more

It is 10 minutes walk from the Metro station Simonis and very close to Koekelberg Cathedral and only steps away from a bus station. Ik heb nu twee keer geslapen in dit hotel. Het is in verhouding tot andere Brusselse hotels niet duur. Beide keren was de kamer prima in orde. Schoon en voldoende onderhouden. De gratis Wifi werkt prima. Het trappenhuis is krap en doet wat vervallen aan. Er is een kleine lift, wat voor zo'n oud pand ongewoon is. De locatie is prima. Het Metrostation […] (Simonis) ligt op 5-10 minuten lopen, langs het park. Het hotel zelf ligt schuin tegenover de basiliek. In de omliggende straten is voldoende, gratis parkeergelegenheid. Kortom, een aanrader als je voordelig en prettig in Brussel wilt overnachten. Read more
