The location is perfect, right across the street from the Valporetto (the water bus). Eugenio, the concierge is the best I have experienced in any hotel in any country. He went out of his way to make our stay wonderful. Coffee and tea any time of day, letting me use the hotel computer (several times), arranging a free motorboat ride to the glass works in Murano,marking a map with the number of the valporetto to take (including the times for when we had to leave early to get to the airport, and just being one of the nicest people I have ever met! The room was spacious and immaculate with three windows, one overlooking the Grand Canal. The bathroom was spotless and well lit, even had a towel warmer for the towels, the heating control was well appreciated since it snowed the day we arrived! With the Valporetto station just across the street it is easy to get anywhere in Venice. About 20 minutes from the bus station at Pont Roma on the 5.1 to the hotel. Or take the line 1 and cruise down the Grand Canal on the way to the hotel. I love Lido since one doesn't have to cross bridges or walk a long way to the hotel and there are many restaurant choices within a 2 block area.

Propreté : nickel. Petit déj apporté entre 8h30 et 10h très bon. A 5-10 mn de la place st Marc. Un peu loin du Vaporetto (notamment pour les valises) mais c'est que 2 fois. Ce n'était pas une chambre exceptionnelle mais elle était très bien.

прекрасный уютны отельчик,полное ощущение, что ты- коренной венецианец.отличное месторасположение, нешумно, но близко ко всем основным достопримечательностям..вежливый персонал и на редкость ( для Венеции)- большой номер..всем рекомендую.

La Casa Fenice n'est pas aussi bien que l'on peut le croire ! Nous avons eu la mauvaise expérience d'avoir la chambre la plus petite, tellement que notre valise a du être mise sous le lavabo dans la sdb ! Et le lit est vraiment ignoble, et le matelas aussi ! Quand on s'allonge, il s'incurve en V ! Mal de dos garanti, une horreur ! Le petit déjeuner […] est dégeulasse, des faux croissants, un café ignoble, et un jus chimique ! On vous le déconseille ! Allez dans un hôtel digne de ce nom, c préférable !Et je vous déconseille la balade en gondole par la casa fenice, car nous avons été arnaqué par les gondoliers ! Read more
